Thirsty And Sharing The Wealth

The time now being around 2:00 a.m., I was buggered and wanted a drink. Those straight hours of torturous dancing and having to wipe my brow every five minutes was becoming unbearable to my thirst. However, as I had no money because my jacket was placed in the cloak room, I asked Anders if he would lend me two dollars. “Sure” he noted positively, “Yet, I feel like I owe you this money”. Royalty was coming my way for the night as the both of us stepped off the stage to get ourselves a drink but before I conclude this story, some unfinished prose.

Getting back to my stint with Trinity, when the three of us had finished dancing together, Trinity paired off with Ace whilst I paired off with the other girl. At one stage we had the girls back to back as Ace and I looked at each other with a wink and a smile. At one stage in the night I gave Ace and Nero my two pairs of glasses, much to their fascination and appreciation.

They pulled it off very well and like I noted, the glasses went through ten pairs of hands before coming back to me. When Marguerite with the blonde hair came back up on stage I left behind the girl I was dancing with and took a few steps back to whisper in Marguerite’s ear “I’d rather dance with you any day”. It was around this time that Ace lost the two girls to Samoan’s and Ace made sure to have a spew about their bad taste in men at the end of the night.

Nevertheless, I didn’t disappoint anyone for the night as Marguerite brought along a couple of her good looking friends upon the stage. One of them was a blonde who was hot and quiet like Lyssa but wore black and white checkered pants that stood out like something Nikita would wear. Figuring that I should share the wealth, I asked Marguerite if I could be introduced to her friends and straight after speaking to her four or five friends I turned and introduced them all to Ace, Nero and Tyler in length.

Ace tapped me on the shoulder seconds later and put up his thumb thanking me for such chivalrous deeds. However, I don’t think much happened from their being introduced to each other but it was a closer unity than before. Tyler on the other hand didn’t know what to do, tending to be alone but straying from the conformity of the pack.

Asking For Her Number

In this second stint of action with Marguerite I asked her a couple more questions about her life and also played my chances at getting to know her after the night. “What are you doing next weekend” I asked her and as she wasn’t sure I asked if she was heading back to Chevy’s. “Do you come her often do you” she asked as I shook my head and advised her that it was my fourth or fifth time.

Bringing up the notion that I would like to see her again, I tried to make some plans and to her growing approval, I asked “If you give me your number I can give you a call and we’ll arrange some plans for the weekend”. Squinting her eyes and giving out a little smile, she appeared as if giving her number away was the wrong thing to do and naiveté made me forget to hand out my number.

Straying away from persistency, I told her how I really liked her, how she had nice eyes and one or two more compliments that might persuade her otherwise. “If you come here next week, we’ll meet” she noted but as I remarked “Yeah right, I’m bad with memory” she assured me that she was genuine and that she would remember my face most definitely.

Two songs before the end of the night all her friends told her that they were heading outside and to my surprise, she decided to stick around, telling her friends she wouldn’t be too long. Marguerite didn’t want the night to end just as much as me and yet, she didn’t want to make what she thought would be a mistake of giving out her number to me. Marguerite probably thought I was a big time slut, getting onto girls here and there each time I visited a club.

She probably also saw me dancing up on the other Trinity but then, who didn’t see such a performance. For the last dance I asked her to face me so that we could cherish what was left of our existence. The night was so taxing on my energetic limbs that I had to stop at least three times from dancing because I could feel the pulling of my Quadriceps. Sort of like the strain of your hip flexes when they tense up on Ab Crunches after overuse.

A Kiss On The Cheek

I didn’t feel disappointed that she couldn’t disclose her phone number because the whole night was well worth it. “I would really have loved to keep in contact with you but if you don’t think it’s suitable then it doesn’t bother me” I uttered, shrugging my shoulders in acceptance to her choice. When the last song was over she told me that she had to run to meet her friends out the front but before leaving she decided to lean forward, tell me that she had a great night and give me a kiss on the cheek.

What a great capping off it was to my night in which I rathered being kissed on the cheek than on the lips as that is a falsity of flirtation, only right if it is within a relationship. As she began scooting off, she left her head there long enough for me to pause her with my straying hand. Grabbing her chin, I quickly snuck a thankful kiss on her cheek which seemed rushed and as that parting kiss was given, I saw her glide through the door and out of my sight.

For the whole night I didn’t even think of trying to kiss anyone, I was naïve to such expectations. The only thoughts that entered my mind on that level was how Trinity’s body looked great as I rubbed up against it and that lasted for a couple of seconds. I didn’t think “How great would she look in bed with me” or anything as deceiving to my personality and so surely, I was content with my night.

Water From Anders

That is how the end of the night took place but still, I have to speak of what I missed out upon, my getting a drink and stepping off the stage. Anders appreciatively bought me a bottle of water after my insatiable thirst increased. While at the bar I was approached by Jonas who started telling me about the twenty four year old girl whom he was getting to know very well. Somehow Jonas felt a touch intimidated during conversation and wasn’t saying stupid things but was keeping the conversation flowing with old news peppered with fresh taste.

In this little lunge away from the dancefloor I did relieve my thirst and amazingly, my shirt and face dried up within ten minutes. Ace, Nero and Tyler soon also made their way down and as Jonas ventured off to chat with his friends I noticed Ace standing near the entrance doors. “What are you doing here” I asked him quizzically as he advised me he hates dancing to R & B.

The Hardcore Room

Strangely, hearing two different blends of music, I looked over away from the normal part of Chevy’s and noticed the second room. Pointing it out to Ace who already knew of it (As did I) he exclaimed that it was too hardcore for himself. Nevertheless, the four of us included with Tyler and Nero walked into the hardcore room which only had fifteen people spread out inside. To my surprise, almost instantly after we crossed over into this room people started making their way inside.

It was as if they were all eyeing either one of us for the night and like the Fonzie riding a motorbike, it was cool to head into the hardcore room. As the four of us began waving our arms around vividly to the music the room started to fill itself up and I couldn’t help but to feel complacent, figuring it had something to do with the four of us and the charisma we portrayed. After a few minutes my legs started to fail on me again and unable to move around without pain, I had to sit myself down.

Taking a seat alongside a wall closest to the doorway I noticed Ace and Nero leaning into one of the corners of the wall. Looking suspicious as they were flicking their lighter on and off, I wondered what the heck they were doing. It wasn’t until later that I found out Nero was looking for a contact lens as the security looking curiously around the corner didn’t seem too phased. For one second I thought that Nero was sniffing cocaine but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and cast a blind eye to my presumptions.

Nero Thinks I’m Sick

Ace’s brother looked to have the highest admiration for me. Earlier in the night he told me how he thought I was a sick cunt and how he wished he could have half the luck that I was having with women for the night. Taking a look at him and the confidence in his smile and dance, I saw him as a chip off his brother’s block and couldn’t understand how he couldn’t pick up if that was the case.

For the whole night I kept telling people how I hadn’t gotten onto anyone for a whole year and the irony later came when I made myself look the fool by dancing up with three women, excluding Lyssa and Constantine. As Nero sat himself down right next to me to have a rest, he sipped his drink and asked me if I was a football player. “Why do you ask that” I inquired, “Is it because I kept kicking my legs for the whole night”.

Nodding his head I figured that my legs rolling into most of the action for the night made an impression on Nero. That gave me all the more confidence in my ability of dancing, knowing that I’ve taught myself not to say in one spot but rather, throw my hands and kick my legs around to the rhythm of the beat. I love retro music, dance music really gets me going and I love those little pirouettes, stepping forward on the ball of one foot and contorting my body to all different positions.

Nero and I enjoyed each other’s company whilst seated and the end of our joint venture of conversation ended when the music abruptly stopped. Being the last to step out, I was treated royally by some guy that stretched out his hand in order to help me up off the floor. It appeared that everyone had seen I had pushed myself flat out and that I had a great time and effort in dancing. The treatment was great but being with those three ladies was greater.

Eyes On Diamond

Speaking of women, when I went up to talk with Redd and Jaromir I was oblivious to the girl that was standing right next to me in black. Turning to spot her black eyes, I was surprised that I didn’t notice her to be Diamond, one of the girls I yearned for and still hold a like for. There was nothing said between us even though I was going to say hello and start a small chat with her whilst I was there.

Nevertheless, after playing with Jaromir’s growing goatee and chatting away with a more durable Redd I made my venture back onto the stage. At the end of the night when I walked outside I spoke to Redd again before leaving. This time around I made it a point to note that I fancied Diamond and his response “Who doesn’t like Diamond”. Tyler and I stepped out together as Ace and his brother left a couple of minutes prior to us. Tyler was holding off because he thought a fight was going to escalate.

A Fight Outside The Door

Through the night there actually was a fight between some Samoan guy and a tall Westie who was calling him back for more. Tyler figured that this would escalate but for the ten minutes that we waited around, nothing happened. Some good did come out of our procrastination in which some of the girls I found interesting ended up saying goodbye to Tyler and I. They were the girls who had the colored shades on and were there the weekend prior.

Figuring that they said hello to Tyler beforehand, I was only hoping they would venture to Chevy’s when next we thought to visit the place, maybe in a fortnight. Well, maybe next week we’ll head to Chevy’s first and then for Saturday night we’ll celebrate a night in the City. Anyway, hopping into Tyler’s car some minutes later I said goodbye to Redd and shook some black guy’s hand whom I thought was the E selling guy and then drove home to a comfortably waiting bed. That my friends is the end of my chatting about Friday night and believe me, thirty or so pages is well worth it.
