Chasing Jett On The Phone

Halfway into the night Anders decided to borrow forty cents off me to try and give Jett a call. Figuring that it would be a good idea myself if we invited Jett down for the night we both headed to the telephones at the front reception area. This is where we actually paged Shawn in which he came out and we met up with him for the first time in the night.

Giving Jett’s mobile phone a call it didn’t seem to respond so after I glanced at some hot blonde signing the registry book we headed back inside. Timing our entry so that we would be alongside the beautiful blonde we made our way back to our little group which was later made bigger by Ralf’s arrival with Simon.

A Brunette Asks For A Lighter

Just a thought to mention… As Ralf arrived with Simon and we decided to grab a bigger desk near where the hot girl was sitting, I started to once again notice two girls standing just outside of the entrance to our room. One of them was blonde, resplendent and charmingly hot, the other was just as well but a brunette and therefore, not as glorious an attraction. They continually parked themselves in a corner just outside the quiet room, having a smoke and chatting to each other as well as some guy.

It appeared that they might have been staying there to check me out as I could sense they were glancing from time to time. When I did walk out into that hallway on my way to the toilet at one stage my hunch was shown to be correct. Almost as if I was spotted and locked in on from the moment I jumped out of my chair, as the doors swung open the brunette took a confident step towards me and asked “Have you got a lighter”.

Knowing that this was her attempt to associate with me in hopes that I would start up conversation I wasn’t apt enough for such a delineation of my character yet. Looking like a hawk as she swooped upon me with her question, I regretfully told her that I was short on lighters and then with nothing better to say I was back on my way, a good chance blown. The blonde girl looked the most intrigued and I had a feeling that the blonde liked me most and the brunette was only making a link between us as she had a fair bit of confidence.

It seemed like the blonde girl who was being timid and preferred to be an observer was the one mostly desirous in her pointing me out to her friend, more timid upon seeing me. Now that I think back upon that moment I know I should have replied something like “You don’t need a light! You’re too hot as it is”. That would have been an obvious smooth line that I now must remember but of course, it always comes too late and without originality.

Fake Names Hold Up

With Ralf and Simon now sitting down we were all holding conversation minus Anders who had ventured off to call Jett again and never returned. Apart from my playing footsies with Yolanda under the table and the conversation about my pants being made out of latex, the continuing deception of my name was exhausted of humor. As Yolanda would keep asking what my real name was I would quickly reply “I’m Bob, but people call me BB because they take the Ooooh out of my name”.

Simon at one stage called me by my real name which created controversial disbelief in Yolanda’s voice but still, she wasn’t sold on the reality with all the white lies that were going around. Confusing her some more, I told her that Simon was called Tony, we just called him Simon as a nickname. Ralf was called by some other name and so was Shawn and the good thing is we all kept to our lies pretty tightly.

At one stage Yolanda’s Asian friend came down to see if she was going to head up to King’s nightclub. “You’re not going up there” I joked, “Everyone up there is over the age of forty”. Her Asian friend seemed to agree with me as all of us had a laugh. Seeing that Yolanda was holding off heading up there as she was having fun I made her mind up by noting “Don’t go up there until midnight, that’s when all the older people start to get tired and fall asleep”. That seemed to bring amusement to the table and it also shocked me slightly as I am never the one cracking jokes or being the main co-joining voice.

Further to my statement I noted “When everyone goes to sleep there will probably only be twenty people left standing, all of them eighteen”. This persuaded Yolanda to tell her friend she would be sticking around for a while and figuring that having her friend sit down would be twice as pleasant, I enticed her to take a seat by saying “Wouldn’t you rather sit down and rest those tired legs rather than stand”. Having invited her to take a seat I enjoyed the part that I took upon in their conversation.

Keith And Tamsen Drop By

Nearing the end of our stay at the Catholic Club and my continually looking out at women parading in the main area, we received an unexpected arrival from Keith and Tamsen. The both of them came down together to try and patch things up between them obviously and as much as I loathed their being there, my face or remarks didn’t show it. Bidding them both to come sit down with us I remembered the hatred Keith showed towards Tamsen and now, the malevolency had subsided from his mind as they were back together due to default.

Everyone probably had their fair share to say in regards to what they thought about the both of them but like me, they kept their thoughts to themselves. As Tamsen made her way over after talking to some friends and hugging some guy she patted everyone on the head saying hello. When she arrived to me she cringed at the Brylcreem that was in my hair, holding her hand still above my head as if she wanted to wipe the muck of her vulnerable hands.

Brylcreem On Queen Street

That’s what I forgot to add, how things come full circle with chronology. Before heading to the Catholic Club Tyler and I headed to Queen Street so I could buy some Brylcreem. Heading to the Chemist just down the street from the Mall we made our way in fully clothed for the Catholic Club, me with my latex pants on. Almost immediately we received service by an avid lady assistant who was keen to serve.

However, I found the price to be a touch too high and grabbing Tyler from his showy ways we headed across the street to Ralph’s Chemist. This time around as we walked aimlessly around the isles we were approached more interestingly by a lady assistant. From the word go, this less than ordinary girl showed her desire to help us as well as her more than obvious desires for how good we looked to her. Moreso, she was interested in helping me, being very considerate and having a generous smile on her face.

It must have been the clothes which gave her such an effect of desire. Anyway, I ended up consulting he on what to buy as to make her day a little more memorable and surprisingly, she also turned from the assistant to the cashier as I paid for the Brylcreem. As she said goodbye to us and we walked back towards the car Tyler noted almost instantly how he thought she was being a touch too obvious. Tyler thought she had a generous attractiveness but I guess we both have different ideas of interest.

Tamsen’s Birthday Photos

Getting back to my story at the Catholic Club, Keith and Tamsen ended up sitting down with us and again, I was the first to pick up conversation as no one else bothered to be fast enough. Tamsen actually informed me that she finally developed the photos from her 21st birthday party in which if I wanted, I could have the negatives. Sounding keenly interested in such an exploit she told me how the pictures looked great, making me more desired to collect the negatives from her.

Keith and Tamsen stayed only for about ten minutes and then ended up heading off to their own misdemeanors of dating again. From there Ralf and Simon headed to play Snooker, Yolanda decided to head upstairs at midnight and it was just me, Shawn and Tyler left standing. Shawn had been drinking a heap for the night in which you could see the obvious strain of his being pissed. Allowing him to try on my glasses as I did with anyone else through the night, he looked funny as well as in style.

I too decided to try on my glasses for the night and when they were on I did receive more looks from women than before. Yolanda appreciated how they looked on me as well and I think this is when she started getting that hungry eye for me, that curious eye each time I touched her legs. She knew I was only mucking around but I couldn’t help to think that she clenched up each time I touched her with her waters slightly flowing with anticipation.

Old School Faces

Some other faces that I noted in my stay at the Catholic Club was Marzio, Kane, York and a host of other people from Airds High School that were sitting amongst them. Being two tables away from us, I didn’t notice them curiously glancing over until halfway through the night when I had pulled half my pranks.

Wondering what they would have been thinking, I could only imagine that they were probably thinking to themselves “Wow, how Tony has changed from a no one at school to this impressive sight that we see before us”. I’d like to think that I overtook them in the fashion sense and that they were thinking I looked good too. Having that knowledge that the cooler kids in school now think I’m cool is beneficial to my confidence.

Dropping Off Shawn

The night at the Catholic Club ended for us around 12:30 a.m. Heading over to Ralf and Simon I asked the both of them if they wanted to head to Chevy’s with us but like I figured, they wouldn’t be interested. In addition, Shawn was coming along with us but he was being dropped off home because he was too drunk to walk. Tyler was a touch upset because he doesn’t like driving around.

As much as we wanted him to come along both Tyler and I were equally intent on heading to Chevy’s with each other, as previously planned on the phone before he drove over. Nearing Shawn’s house he remarked “I’ll go if you can lend me your shoes to wear” but despite this third entity now available Tyler still didn’t want to drive all the way back to my house.

Therefore, we just ended up dropping off Shawn who probably would have been too drunk to head out and from there we headed to Chevy’s. Parking the car on the other side of Pizza Hut and just up the street we jumped out, eager to find out how pumped up Chevy’s would be for the night. Deciding to take off my beret and head in there with just my hair hanging out I was totally comfortable as it felt befitting.

Still Behind On The Diary

That my friends is where I must end this tale as I have spent a whole night writing for sixteen pages and still, I have failed to complete Friday night. This always happens. When I am intent on writing for many days, I tend to dwell on all the information of a certain day, making the chronology seem to lag more and more behind. However, the opposite seems to happen if I only have to speak of one day and I have forever to do it but it gets done so quickly.

The catch 22 principle applies to my exceeding chronology as in this case. However, before I head off tonight lagging in four days worth of chronology again I am proud of my effort tonight that in reality took three hours and forty five minutes. Before I leave the grace of these pages tonight in my sleepy mood at 11:55 p.m. I must submit one piece of simplistic poetry thought of today. It comes at a time of fanciful courting and it comes with a story and history attached to it.

A Rhyme About The Train Girl

Simply put, I noticed a girl on the train home yesterday and at work today whom I like and whom works with me and lives in the Campbelltown area. Upon seeing her today at work and placing her to an equally celebrated face of memory as that of Jewell’s, the flow of poetry slightly evoked these hands. Then I must, before I leave with these few minutes before midnight, a simplistic rhyme I thought upon in my head. The first three lines came to me when I asked myself what I would say to her if we got to talking and the rest is now history…

You remind me,

Of a place I’d rather be,

Of a face I’d rather see,

Of a limitless end to avoid,

Of an envious faith overjoyed.
