Back to Camp in the Mud

Heading back to Kangaroo Valley we made our entry to where we set camp and noted that Binh and the rest of them had found it fine. Keith’s car wasn’t meant for the dirt roads and muddy potholes that made the entry and by the end of the night and all the chaos that ensued, his car was packed with mud.

Up the whole side of the car was mud and I won’t reveal just yet the chaos that ensued but I’ll just say that he drove up a steep grass hill and almost had his car bogged. The front part of the car hit the hill in which a tiny part of the bottom front of the car’s front came loose. There was heaps of grass stuck to the front portion of the car which I took out later in the night when we stopped to evaluate what had just happened, confused, read on.

Binh was playing the system in his brother’s jeep as we pulled up and parked our car. The fire was cranking generously and for once we felt the benefit of being out in the bush despite our surroundings. Taking a seat next to Tyler and Shawn I started doing my handshakes with Tyler as noted previously. I guess it would be time to put away any modesty and note about the less desirable mentions of my misdemeanors through the night.

My Smelly Night

The subject we speak of now is flatulence and my ability to create a lot of wind for the night. I’m not sure when it started but all I know is that when I let one rip people would get to the point of almost vomiting. Yep, I reeked big time and by one noted as Shawn, I was told that my farts smelt like an off barrage of meat that was part cooked and then left out to rot some more.

From my own opinion, it was a mean odor that felt like it was hard to breathe in, like a humid day. If it were a liquid it would be like vodka (I think that’s the alcohol) which has absolutely no smell to it as well as no flavor. My fart had that sense of nothingness as it burdened my lungs but once in there, it was an atrocious smell. For the whole way back to Campbelltown I was letting wind pass and each and every time all in the car would hold their breath and open the windows.

It came to the stage where I would have to warn them beforehand, it was really bad. I put the blame on my wanting to go to the toilet but not having done so for the last two or three nights successively. It felt like there was a droplet just sitting there each time I let wind which would have increased to the odor but as far as needing to go was concerned, there was nothing immediately up there but that pebble of bad pungency.

Campfire With Tyler

The sense of a group chatting around an open fire was liberating as I tried best as I could to associate with the conversation. At one stage, as Tyler was getting pissed and chatting with me he stood up for no reason and unknowingly to everyone else he pulled out his little franger and showed me. Unaware I asked him curiously “What are you doing” when he jumped up and was answered without words but with action. “Oh man” I moaned as I looked away from his pecker and no sooner did he put it away and sit back down as if nothing had happened.

As Tyler kept talking he kept asking me if I wanted to head out into the bushes with him to look for a wombat but I was starting to worry about his real intentions. It is common suspicion that either Tyler or Noah could be gay and I didn’t want to head out into the bushes and learn in that manner. Nevertheless, when Tyler noticed a wombat we did end up grabbing a torch and chasing it as far as a big tree in which it splashed through that puddle and then hid.

Taking a picture or two of the crowd around the campfire I wanted to be in a couple of shots but as I don’t show any trust in anyone else taking a good shot, I took care of the pictures. I let Keith have a go earlier in the day when we were setting up the tents but I’m not sure if that even would have come out to the lengths and degree that I wanted.

That pretty much sums up the more amiable and predictable adventures of our Saturday night. Still I have the most important and night-changing aspect to speak of but I fear it will take much more time than I have available. Therefore, I shall once again lag on chronology from when I get back home from work tomorrow but I know that my little epic saga on Saturday will be fully played out in these pages.

Recapping Sunday

The time now is 10:40 p.m. and just to size up the events for today, let me just dedicate this paragraph to such deeds. First, today I woke up at 11:30 a.m. and further to your curiosity, I didn’t get to sleep last night until 4:00 a.m., in my own bed. Having something to eat and a shower today I leapt onto my computer in which I haven’t turned off or restarted a new chapter to my entries despite my heading off to places.

In short detail as I will probably explain it thoroughly tomorrow, I headed with Ned and Keith to Leroy’s house where I could pick out my belongings taken for the night camping. From there I headed back to my house after twenty minutes foraging because I had to type on my computer and since then I haven’t gone out or chatting with someone otherwise.

For the rest of my day today after heading back from Leroy’s house I wrote in my diary, taking a break every now and again because I wasn’t into writing so early in the morning. With time tonight I have loosened up to the task of writing in these memoirs but it has come at a lengthy price. Switching off for half an hour to watch television every now and again helped me to focus on the job at hand which in the long run has led me to this highly depicted event-book but it hasn’t permitted me to finish chronology tonight.

Chinese Food and Footy

Anyway, feeling the feel for Chinese food I headed down to Bradbury shops around 2:00 p.m. and bought myself some sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. Chowing down on it once home I started watching basketball and then car racing before switching back the reciprocals to my diary. For the next couple of hours I did write until finally 4:00 p.m. arrived and I relaxed in front of the television hoping that Canterbury would win against Canberra to ease the ability of Brisbane Broncos edging one spot out of the top eight next week.

I’m such a Brisbane fan now and I know that they’re going to wipeout Balmain when next they play forcing them ever so closer to the playoffs. However, as Murphy’s Law would persist, the Bulldogs won for the first time on their new home ground and as much as I gloated in the satisfaction that Keith’s team were beaten, I was more disturbed that Brisbane had to now keep in contention a lot tighter if they are to succeed.

When the game was finished I typed some more, watched part of sixty minutes, typed some more and then watched part of a movie. From there I started writing in these pages again and now here I am, with the time at 10:50 p.m. and my will to get to sleep becoming all the more credulous.

Reading About Lyssa

Before I depart these pages now and with these ever increasing eyes of lethargy let me just note a thought conjured in my bid to read past entries today. This month I noted my two-year ghostly anniversary with Lyssa and that tempted me to ponder upon our date of finally breaking up. Since last week I have been wondering when that day was but I never had the time to sift through past chronology until today. Reading through portions of June as I wanted to know what Lyssa and I done on this day last year, I was somewhat moved in every degree of emotion.

There was a particular piece of passage that explained Lyssa sleeping next to me, being so cute-looking as I played my computer and my submission to her adorable cuddliness as she slept. I didn’t think that I would fall into an emotional barrage of reminiscence upon reading those pages but my soft beating heart to love’s solvency was proof. With those words I remembered the last time that I slept over Lyssa’s house and how despite our differences and getting over each other considerably, I still tried to savor each moment.

That explains why I wanted to head to Lyssa’s house, why I chose to spend the night in her bedroom and how I felt as one again when I was sleeping right next to her, my hands hugging her inviting body. Sex wasn’t important as you can see by my lack of complaining, I just felt a temporary fix to a perpetual problem created when Lyssa and I broke up. I knew when going out with Lyssa that I would miss hugging and sleeping next to someone that loved me as much as I her the most.

I just miss those loving hugs, those adoring eyes, closed and completely oblivious to the immense affection held within my heart. There were no easy nights of sleep when Lyssa lay next to me in our heyday, I would always cherish each moment of our laying beside each other. Therefore, it couldn’t be any different when I had that chance to soothe my heart’s loneliness, if only for one night and with someone in which I had grown apart from.

One Year Without Lyssa

The date that Lyssa and I broke up was July 5th 1998 and to think that it’s only one week away and in this whole one year without Lyssa to accompany me, I have not found another love nor looked close of it. Yet, I still fall to emotional pieces whenever I turn back the clock by reading upon my memories of old.

I now grow disregardful to my scriptures regarding Jewell because I have learnt to show contempt because Lyssa is still in my life and I know that if I go back to my memories, I will probably do something stupid like call her. That in itself isn’t stupid as I would love to one day become an entity with Jewell but then again, our time might be past and my future should be with a completely new lover.

It gets to the point of giving up on my finding someone to hold, to hiss and to love as much as I with Lyssa or Jewell. I feel as if I would be cheating myself and Jewell of a proper relationship if I was to call her up and get to know her again. I would rather it happen naturally like when we met on the street in Campbelltown.

However, if it was meant to be then when next we ever meet if we do, our time will finally show of age and we will be back together, properly.

Am I Over Her

When it comes to being over people, I can’t say that I’m over Jewell because I never really got to know her. That sounds ironic when you think of the countless nights we held long deep and meaningful discussions but in truth, we knew so much about each other yet, we didn’t know anything. Therefore, I can’t say that I was ever begun with Jewell to be over with her but I can definitely say that after one year I am mostly over Lyssa.

Sometimes I wish I didn’t have this diary to revert back to old memories because they only bring back pain or in this case, the love that I had for Lyssa when we were at full strength. In truth, I can go forever without thinking about Lyssa until she either calls me, I hear about her or read back upon her in my diary.

That is when the longing for our lost affection comes back into play, where I disregard how wrong we are for each other and only remember the finer and more refined moments of our relationship. Now that our one year has past I’m not sure what I will do when July 5th arrives but I do know that it’s one day after the Gridiron game in Australia which I so much wanted to be a part of.

I’m positive that Lyssa can’t remember when the two of us broke up but I can be sure that I’ll probably receive a call from her either as a jag on that date or a couple of nights before, maybe on Friday. Who knows what fate will bring me now that I am wearing her lady-luck around my neck. All I know is that I have to get to sleep now from another late night. The time is 11:15 p.m. if you need another update so with that, I’ll be off now to sleep…
