Chasing a TAFE Course
It is almost the middle of the year and only now am I starting to pick up my feet and venture. Today was the first time in a long time that I decided to follow up a course at a TAFE or College and so far, it is looking positive. Half an hour ago I embarked on some phone calls to gather information for an English Course that involves study into Shakespeare and Old English Poetry. I didn’t come up with a specific course but I did receive some vital information for my search.
The ‘TAFE NSW Handbook’ is out in newsagents for my taking and in there are over one thousand courses for me to chose from. It wouldn’t be too hard to find exactly what I’m looking for, maybe I’ll even look under desktop publishing. However, the only problem that presses this budding student is the cause for money and how wealthy a course will cost. Despite this little detail that could deflate most of my ambitious energies I will buy that handbook with my next payment, stretching that budget furthermore.
Today I am headed to the Gym to train with high reps to build my endurance. Routine will be a part of my Gym schedule soon as I work my money into a fix and when that is complete, I will be a growing boy. My biceps are practically painless now as the flush of aching is at a diminutive stage. With my body getting lighter and my muscles getting smaller I will be looking at including my Trapezius into the workout so that an allover symmetry can be defined.
A Walk to Campbelltown
Now, in the only way I know possible, let me begin with chronology beginning with my eventful day yesterday. As noted, it all began around 8:30 a.m. and from this early in the morning a plan was fabricating for my day. The day pressed on and as I was typing in my computer I received a call from Winifred who was a lady from a temping agency.
The story thus far has been told and her bid to have me send her a fax was one of the reasons I left for Campbelltown, the other being my will to see prices for a new keyboard. Therefore, I readied myself and then began on my saunter to Campbelltown. The day was nicely warm, radiantly glowing upon my skin and I, blissfully aware of its presence. When I finally reached Campbelltown I completely forgot about looking at keyboards in a computer shop because I was walking like a robot.
When I am alone it is usually the case that I switch off to my thoughts because of the silence and I did bring my notepad and write some thoughts down along the way. Also, I look too serious and gloomy to others who notice me and it is hard to change from this facial expression into an interested one if a good looking girl walks by and looks in my direction. I dub myself to the extent of the terminator, unaware of nothing but the job at hand.
Faxing at Centrelink
Heading straight for Centrelink with my résumé rolled up in my hand I made haste to the back part where the fax machine was. Filing out a fax header I made six copies of my resume and then sent my fax through to the temping agency. That was my primary business and without any further ado I made my way back outside. Now my next place of business was to see if a magazine called ‘Maxim’ was in the newsstands because it looked like a high-gloss magazine.
This magazine ranks up there with FHM and let me tell you, it has twice the pages and twice the glamour of the ladies. The newsagent did stock both the magazines, where the new issue of FHM had Mariah Carey on it. These magazines are the reason I will be spending my money on both of them when I do receive it on Monday.
The next shop that I visited was the computer shop right next door to Pizza Hut. Keeping myself in there for only a couple of minutes I noticed the keyboards start from $25 and a windows 95 Keyboard which is split for each hand cost $100. I’d love to try out the second keyboard because it won’t get my fingers confused (Well they aren’t that confused anyway) but it is a fair bit of money to splash out just for a keyboard. Heading out of that shop after a couple of minutes I made my way back home walking.
A Glance From a Car
Just before my street I noticed a car with two girls inside of it dressed in their St. Pats clothes. One of them had great blonde medium length hair and she looked at me as I was walking. Taking a look at her also I double looked as she kept her keen eye upon me. Her friend decided to have a glance as she stopped at the intersection at Bradbury School but I was in my serious and gloomy mood and for that I couldn’t crack a smile or any inviting facial expression. Besides that, they probably weren’t any older than 17 so it wouldn’t have been all roses.
Reaching my house around 4:00 p.m. I had something to eat, a shower and started watching television. Shortly after I began on my computer and on that note let me just note that the Biorhythm Cycles like other facets have died out. Their use has become more extinct with my duration away from the Gym and the irregular emotions compared to the cycles themselves. Another extinction is the data compilation for my diary. When it came to the time consuming factors of the data I gave up my immediate quest.
Stale Bread and Bananas
Who has the time to sit there and compile the use of every word in each entry, if they are adverb or even how much chronology, philosophy and poetry are used. Those new beginnings and rebirths are like riding my racer and TAFE will be to me this month. It is just like writing poetry about love. The subject never changes meanings of love but rather, the writer just finds different ways to say the same thing. My love is life and with each month I will loosen old ways of embellishing my love of life to find new ways of acting it out.
Again, this will be a shorter entry than usual as thoughts are undermined from my mind. I have added a couple of older notes that I wrote in these pages a little while back but they to my recollections now would be like stale bread. When my thoughts drag on untouched for one week or more and then I finally decide to write about them, they are without proper emotion that the moment could have given and thus, as stale bread is, partially indigestible gluttony.
On the thought of gluttony, we have a banana tree in our backyard, something that I wasn’t aware of. When I would walk out there I would see the tree day to day but it wasn’t until Shawn noted that it was a banana tree and I saw the green bananas that I finally realized. Now we have an orchard in our backyard, of plums, oranges, lemons and bananas. With no more to speak at this moment let us part on a word as wedded words we did begin with.
