Behind on the Diary Again

Very early in the morning again, I have of a couple of days to write still but hopefully after tonight that will not be a stressing factor. Being always behind in chronology isn’t stressing to me at all but it does hamper my poetical nights where I feel I can’t be creative because of the work I still have at hand. Despite that I will try and be precise and quick about the past few days and considering I’m almost finished the details of the last couple of days, I might be able to start writing poetry again tomorrow.

An Eclipse Called In

Tuesday we shall now get to and as I had finished my Gym workout I was back home around 7:00 p.m. Calling Lyssa up as I got home she quickly informed me that there was an eclipse happening as we were speaking and for me to go look at the sun through a pin hole. Hanging up the phone I went to look at the sun but all I could see was the whole sun, nothing strange.

Thinking that it would become dark because of an eclipse I was sadly mistaken, it only gets a bit shaded. Nevertheless, I thought to use a little contraption I had made on Sunday when Ralf and I were coming home from Shawn’s house so I could look more directly at the sun. On Sunday when we finished the printing I cracked open the floppy disk’s cover and then took out the round part that holds the information. Because it was a sunny day I thought to hold the disk up to my eye and look through it.

What happened next surprised me as I could see 50% of the scenery through the disk where the only difference was that it was all in red. It was from a black 3½ inch disk and the round information bit on the inside was also black but you could gather that it was sheer enough to be seen through. The disks inner portion was like wearing a very tinted pair of glasses with a red lens on them.

Red Glow Through a Disk

Looking at the sun through this computer disks inner portion it cut out all the glare of the sun, darkened the scenery somewhat but it brought a brilliant clarity and a beautiful view of the sun. The sun was indeed viewable to perfection and although it was more red than yellow you could see the black of the moon in front of it that was causing the eclipse. Half of the sun had now conformed to the moon’s hiding it and just looking at the sun without this cool contraption would not show you the distinctiveness of what was really happening.

Calling out mum and dad I also got them to try it out but the eclipse interested them for a little while then they were back to their normal selves, watching television. Calling Lyssa back up I really wanted her to see the sun as I was seeing it so I asked if she had a disk handy. Lyssa informed me that there would be plenty in her brother’s room and I was elated to hear that but my hopes of Lyssa seeing what I could see were shattered when she informed me the door was locked.

When the fad of the eclipse was over and all had been finished to watch Lyssa and I just began talking normally and she finally informed me how her brother had bought a new car. Well it was an 85 model Paseo (I think that’s what it is) just like Sione’s car but the great thing about it is that he bought it for $1000, or so he says.

Kuper said that he would lend the car to Lyssa whenever he wasn’t using it so basically that would only be once in a blue moon. Still, Lyssa was happy with his purchase and the fact that she would get to drive it every now and again.

Friday Night Tension

I’m not sure what else we talked about for the night but I think I informed Lyssa that she could stay over my house for Friday night but I’m not sure about that one. Whichever day it was I had an argument with her tonight because she wasn’t staying over my house on Friday anymore despite the fact that I’m not sure what we are doing for the night.

All I know is that I have to get money from Keith’s work tomorrow night and hopefully I can get the Nintendo for Lyssa off Jett and Shawn before the 21st of this month arrives because as we know, that’s an important date. Besides the conversation with Lyssa I don’t think I done anything more than typing in my computer but I will record here that cockroach season is back. Tuesday night I killed one that would have just been a kid, flushed him down the toilet after hitting him up. There was another one but I didn’t get him until the next night.

A Phone Call From Rochelle

Getting to sleep at an early time in the morning I woke up on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. by a call from whom I least expected and hoped would never call, Rochelle. This woman never gets the hint and never gives up but the conversation was so tantalizing to stupidity’s reign that I thought I might write it here in the full. Well, you’d just have to understand that she isn’t the smartest girl in the world and her voice sounds like a hick. She has an irritating laugh that just shows her halfwit nature and at heart, she is nothing but a simpleton and that’s just trying to be nice.

The conversation starts with Rochelle stuttering and almost in an anxious giggling state saying “Hi, this is Rochelle, remember me, did you get my present”. With a simple grumble of acknowledgement from me as I was still half asleep she said to me “I’m crazy aye” with emphasis on the ‘Aye’ portion. She sounded so home grown housing commission that I was repulsed in a way to be talking with her but this was my chance to inform her that we should stop playing charades and for me to tell her my true feelings, or just hide behind someone.

Basically after I answered her question with ‘Yeah, you’re crazy” she paused for a second or two and then gaining her conscience again she sloppily uttered “So, we have to make a date for you to come over again aye”. Again, there should be more emphasis on the word ‘Aye’ as if that was her favorite expression in the vocabulary of idiocy.

Breaking It Down for Her

Breaking it down for her I started asserting my words by remarking, “Look, I can’t come over your house, I don’t want to come over your house”. Upon asking me for an answer and asking the all important “Why, it’s the kids isn’t it” I replied, “No it’s not the kids”. Fancy her with her visual offensiveness and her not even bothering to look attractive to blame the kids. To tell you the truth the kids didn’t bother me at all while I was there and they didn’t play any part in my decision and conclusion that I didn’t want to see Rochelle or know of her.

Somewhat angered at her vain comment I professed “There are many reasons why I don’t want to come over but the main reason is that I have someone that is not my girlfriend but we are very close”. That was enough for her to keel over and with her parting words she said “Well you have my number” and probably embarrassed she hung up the phone, upset that she wouldn’t get me between her manhandling legs.

Lyssa Loses Her Enthusiasm

That conversation was over fairly quickly and I considered myself lucky to get rid of Rochelle’s shadow upon my life. Getting myself back to sleep I didn’t wake up until 1:00 p.m. when Lyssa decided to give me a call from work. Lyssa informed me that she was now teaching Penelope on her first day at Lyssa’s work but she also complained about how she didn’t have money for the weekend because had spent money to buy some pants and also a top.

Always the clothing and never the clothed. In our conversation Lyssa also didn’t seem so enthusiastic on Friday night with me but now I understand why that would have been. Lyssa informed me that Penelope was pressing Lyssa to go out with her so she wouldn’t be the only woman with Ali’s friends for Friday night. This chat with Lyssa must have come on that Wednesday before Lyssa decided to ring me and it would have stuck on her conscience.

Wanting to please Penelope and knowing we hadn’t made plans yet Lyssa tried to back her way out by showing no real enthusiasm or doing her usual, not saying anything. Lyssa hinted that it would probably be better if I headed out with my friends and as I brought up the fact that she would have to save money for a taxi to my house and back and knowing she didn’t have that much money to go around after buying clothes, she was up shit creek.

Keeping a Secret for Friday

If Lyssa was as keen as a few days ago to come over just short of begging me she would find a way, she would catch a bus. Nevertheless, I found out the truth behind Lyssa’s impassive attitude but when I informed Lyssa on Thursday night that I would have to spend Friday night with my friends regardless Lyssa got defensive and started acting as if Friday with me was once again her top priority.

Lyssa to me was just acting spiteful that I had to go out for a reason and that reason I didn’t tell Lyssa. All I said to Lyssa is that I have to go out with my friends and I gave her a hint that I will be getting money from Keith but I didn’t mention that we would be getting it for free from his work. Also informing Lyssa that people just owed me some favors she wanted to know why I wasn’t going to be with her for Friday night. Basically I just kept telling Lyssa that people owed me favors and that I had to settle on them for Friday night.

What I didn’t inform Lyssa of is how I am trying to get her the Nintendo because if I did say that and it didn’t come through for me she would probably feel as empty as me. The Nintendo that Shawn and Jett took from Simon’s house has Mario Kart. I know I’m probably contributing to the problem by taking it off their hands but Lyssa love’s Nintendo and that game and I would love to see the glimmer on her face when I give it to her on the 21st of this month being Sunday.
