Three Years of Pages

There is only left but a month of lesser scriptures that will divinely make up the articles of three years within this chronicle of my life. For three years I have with constancy written my life’s adventures and pitfalls within these pages. Ever since March 9th, 1996 have these pages here depicted my sometimes embroiled livelihood. For truths reason shall I still unto these pages, my life depict and I do without slowing or degradation.

Rather, I with excellence have excelled the caliber and extent of my chronicles and what was once a page a day has now transcended to become a vast amount of information daily. It is these here pages that I will look upon for knowledge and inheritance of my old self upon my future days and it is upon these pages that I will create a pool of emotions that will urge me to gain knowledge and to write poetry in every sense.

Like Shakespeare once wrote, ‘Glory is like a circle in the water, which never ceaseth to enlarge itself, till by broad spreading it disperse to nought’. With my death shall this literature’s circle end and the glories that came with it shall disperse to nought. My poetical talent as noted before has gained upon an increase but even though this talent is looming amongst my brow I shall here include my chronology.

Back to the Gym

Now, we shall begin on Saturday and that beginning shall come after Lyssa’s departure from my house. The next hour after Lyssa headed home I nodded off for an extra hour of sleep and upon waking up I knew I had to get myself to the Gym. After having something to eat and sobering up from my quick nap the time arrived to 4:00 p.m. Knowing that the Gym closed at 5:00 p.m.

I knew that I had to make a choice and quick, I decided to head off. There was no way that I was going to miss another day of the Gym and it wouldn’t have been because I was lazy but because for those days missed I was held up. My Gym routine started at 4:20 p.m. and lasted until the Gym closed. For that reason I didn’t get to work my abdominals once again but regardless of that, here is my workout.

Chest and Biceps Report

Chest: Warming up for two minutes on the exercise bike I headed straight up to the Peck Deck Fly machine. Warming up with some stretches and light weights I placed the weight on Peck Deck Fly’s to 170 pounds and with that pushed out 15 reps. Pausing for a little while I pushed another 12 reps out with some struggle nearing the end. Moving to Bench Press I loaded up 160 pounds to try the weight out and with a spot I managed to push out 10 reps, I’m not sure how much help I received if any.

From there I moved to Dips and upon there I managed 9 reps before failing but I did complete 2 more reps after a pause. Incline Dumbbell Press with 60 pounders was next and with my diminishing stamina and strength I completed 8 reps. Next was Seated Machine Press where I tried 180 pounds but could only afford 4 reps from my burn out muscles. For that I placed the weight down to 160 pounds to pound out 6 more reps. Two more sets on Cable Crossovers were called for. The first was with 50 pounds to perform 12 reps and the second was with 60 pound and bending over I completed 12 more reps.

Biceps: This was next on the agenda and after a warm-up I moved to Preacher Cable Curls and with 60 pounds completed 9 reps. Moving now to Dumbbell Preacher Curls with 35 pound dumbbells I created 10 reps per arm, a big struggle near the end. Next, I moved to Standing Cable Curls and with 65 pounds I created 8 reps.

Pushing the weight up to 70 pounds after a pause I finished with 3 more reps. Concentration Curls was next and with 30 pounds I managed 10 reps per hand. While the music was being turned off and the Gym was closing I finished my day with a set of Reverse Cable Curls. Stacking 45 pounds on the weight stack I completed 12 reps and then left for home.

Getting Ready for the Night

For the next couple of hours after the Gym I sat at home eating and then preparing for my Saturday night out. The hours leading to me heading out are too sparse of information to chat about so let’s leave it at that length of debate. However, when it was time to head out Ralf went to pick up Shawn and upon picking up Jett second they headed to my house.

First Nightclub Nerves

Once here Jett jumped out and walked into my room where I had my jeans waiting for him as he had nothing to wear out to a nightclub, Mikaere had his pants. Jett also lent some dress shoes to head into the club, apart from that he was alright. Jumping in the back of the car with Jett I could see in his eyes the expectation and anxiety that came with the first time I stepped foot into a nightclub.

For remembrance’s sake I can’t recall my first actual voyage to a nightclub unless it was the time I headed into Colors with Ralf. That was a freaky night for me and I was afraid to dance but I did dance once on stage, I got over it. The same fear I could see in Jett’s eyes and as we talked in the car of how long we were going to be there it ranged from feared to expectant.

Jett was anxious and that’s why he suggested and hoped that we would only be on the dance floor for an hour and a half, the shortest of time. Then there was Ralf who noted that we would probably be on the floor for three or so hours and Jett probably cringed to that. The trip was full of music as we headed to Parramatta and as I once again wore my black club clothes I was psyching myself up for a good night on the dance floor.

Poker Machines Before the Dance

Upon arriving at the parking area for the club Ralf couldn’t find himself a free parking spot and I was busting to get to the toilet. For that I jumped out as he looked for a spot and got my first glimpse of the inside of the club upon passing the tight ass security who thoroughly checked my entry. Heading to the toilets where the poker machines were I done my deed and then headed back outside to wait for the rest of them to park the car.

It must have been at least ten minutes until I finally noticed them walking up, it was hard to find a parking spot. Once they were upon me we made our way back into the club but before we headed into the nightclub we walked around the poker machines and bought ourselves some drinks. Jett looked fairly uncomfortable as he talked with anxiety in his voice and also in the way he walked and held his cup of drink.

Jett didn’t look comfortable at all but I done my best, as I’m sure Ralf and Shawn had done to make him feel at ease quicker. The four of us stood around one of the poker machines as Ralf put in a dollar and won $5 back. That was basically the only win of the night as Shawn tried his luck but lost out.

Inside the Club

Once our short adventure downstairs was finished we headed up the stairs to X-Scape and probably to Jett’s fears and dread. His heart like mine in the olden days of clubbing would have been pounding, his hands greased with sweat and his mind drawing a blank. Getting our stamps for the club as we walked past the security we envisioned what the club would turn out to be and then our hopes were either shattered our glamorized, depending on whoever you were. Myself, I thought the club was a little less than I expected and even though it was fairly large (Being around the same size as JEMS in Liverpool) there wasn’t a full crowd there.

The lady populous was not as flamboyant as I had imagined but the crowd had pleased a part of me. Stepping around the dance floor which was made of polished wooden planks risen above the rest of the carpeted floor by a fraction (Kind of reminds me of the wooden floor inside Airds high school’s big hall that we used to play basketball and soccer on) we made our journey to the far side of the room. The dance floor was fairly packed of people having a great time and there were two wooden podiums that were square and two meters on each side that stood on each side of the dance floor’s middle.
