Chasing Easy Money, Then Chest Day (Part 1) – Mad Chaos: January 29, 1999

Easy Money That Wasn't

This world would not revolve if people did not try to find the easy solution to acquiring money, the easy way. But, who would have known that the easy way would be so hard to attain, with such a scam. Tonight I write so late because the whole night and day has been spent out having myself some fun but the latter of the night was held up because of this grand idea to exploit the system.

There isn’t a month that goes by without myself and my colleagues talking about some way to make money out of nothing. Of course, there is always a risk of busted and a risk of if it will work at all. Tonight we tried a new concept to obtain money including other people’s Credit Card details and we tried the first step in this method but it failed upon us.

There will be more told about this new scam that flopped almost before it started but the philosophy behind stealing this money is worth recording. After we realized that our hopes of obtaining free money was harder than we thought Keith tried to persuade Shawn to steal Simon’s car so we could drive around and teach him a lesson but that was soon quashed. But, before I speak of my very full day let me now speak of Wednesday and all the happenings within.

Wednesday and the Gym Log

Wednesday started for me around 2:15 p.m. and once I did I had myself the normal breakfast at lunch and my routine shower. For the next two or three hours I gather I was watching television but when the time arrived to 5:00 p.m. I was ready to head out to the Gym. No one had called me yet for the day but that didn’t bother me one bit. Now, let me include my Gym workout and then we shall conclude with the rest of Wednesday…

Chest: The bike machines were taken up so I didn’t have an opportunity to properly warm up but I did get the chance to stretch strenuously. Once all my stretching was done I made my way to Peck Deck Fly’s and after a warm-up I placed the weight up to 170 pounds to pound out 15 reps. After a pause and with the same weight I managed another 10 reps where I had to stretch much more grievously on the last two reps.

Moving now to a new exercise for a very long time being Decline Press I loaded the weight up to 160 pounds and sat down to psych myself up. Asking for a spot I didn’t know if my Chest was going to ache but it was worth a try. With the spotters help but only near the end two reps I managed 10 reps, fairly easy to mid problem. I probably could have taken the weight up to my Bench Press maximum. Stripping the weight to 120 pounds I performed another 10 reps, no fuss.

Having stressed out my Chest already but still feeling as if I wasn’t fully stretched or worked I jumped onto a pre thought of exercise, Dips. Mounting myself I found it hard to bring out any of my energy and I found on most of my exercises I gave up where I would usually power through for an easy four extra reps. On Dips I created 6 reps then pausing created another 2.

Moving to the assisted Dips I threw on some assistance weight and then pounded out 4 more reps before giving up. Moving to Machine Seated Press I stacked the weight to 180 pounds and with this performed 6 reps before giving up. After some rest I came back to this weight and with 160 pounds created 9 reps. Trying to perform Incline Dumbbell Press there was no way my drained muscles would push. For that reason I stacked 50 pounds for each arm on Cable Crossovers and with that completed 12 reps.

Biceps and Abs

Biceps: Before beginning on Biceps I walked to the Standing Leg Curl Machine and with 20 pounds per leg I performed 20 reps. Moving to a warm-up for the Biceps I sat on the Cable Preacher Curl bench and with a new 60 pounds performed and completed 8 reps with great strain. Moving to Dumbbell Preacher Curls with 35 pounders I performed 10 reps each hand. Moving now to Concentration Curls I once again tried a new weight of 30 pounds and with that found it somewhat harder but nevertheless, I performed 10 reps each hand. My last set was with Reverse Cable Curls and with 55 pounds I performed 10 reps.

Abdominals: Starting with Low Ab Crunches and adding a twist on each rep I performed 30 reps. From there I completed another set of 20 reps and finally jumping onto the Machine Ab Crunches I performed 20 reps with 40 pounds. My very last set before heading off was on Machine Seated Vertical Leg Press with the stack of 200 pounds where I performed 40 reps.

Aches and a Milestone

My Gym routine only took me around 45 minutes which was fairly quick and right now I have pains mostly in my Chest and some minute pain in my Biceps. A remarkable accomplishment has been made in my bodybuilding advancement. Through the years I’ve been trying to get my arm at a certain size, always striving to get bigger and today I proudly announce that my arms have now reached the 15 inch mark.

Also, while at the Gym for Wednesday I noticed a heap of people including Pepsi (The Asian guy with the T18), the bushy hair guy that looks like Nina’s dad, Redd a hot blonde and that faggot Egyptian guy who is a security at Macarthur Square and got me kicked out more than a year ago now. When he noticed me he looked surprise that I was there but my stern face had him avoiding me. There was a time where he tried to smirk at me but I knew better and just kept walking my way.

Calling Lyssa After the Gym

Anyway, after my workout I had something to eat and as the time arrived to 6:15 p.m. I decided to give Lyssa a call. After Lyssa’s initial shock of me deciding to call her we started to chat about Ettamogah Pub. Lyssa informed me that this is where she headed on Monday night after we chatted on the phone.

Having a great time for her Australia Day party Lyssa informed me that she signed a petition to keep Ettamogah open from midnight to the standardized time of 3:00 a.m. The club says that a petition will help speed up court proceedings to get that time up and running but if it wasn’t for a petition the paperwork would take more than the usual three weeks, maybe double.

Lyssa is still trying to get that job for Penelope at her work, the trainee position. Lyssa informed me that she handed in her College report to her boss but she ticked an extra two subjects to what she had completed so it wouldn’t look that bad. Lyssa ticked them because she had just started those topics and I gather she can use that to her defense. Lyssa asked out of curiosity if I wanted the job and then said “It would be good competition for the both of you” but I feel she was only being sympathetic and I hope only sarcastic.

Starting a chat about the weekend and how long it’s been since Lyssa has seen me we found out that Lyssa and I probably won’t get the chance to see each other for the weekend. For Friday night Lyssa informed me she is going out to some sort of party who I can’t remember, she was invited. Then there’s Saturday where Lyssa is visiting Penrith Panthers and they have five rooms booked, five huge rooms and plenty of people. Lyssa is leaving very early on Saturday morning and spending half of her Sunday there so that cuts out sleeping over on Friday and any time on Sunday.

A Relationship Fading Out

If you ask me, my relationship with Lyssa is now starting to take its fading course. The day that I finally realized I was being played and I wasn’t happy with the events circulating Lyssa and I, I got out. There couldn’t really have been a better time as I’ve started to carve a spot within my acquaintances, I’m starting to pay much more attention to the opposite sex as in conversation and I’ve started to label what is more important to me now, wealth.

For Lyssa, these days after my harsh attitude towards Lyssa in the days of my birthday are best for her if she needs to fade from my existence. Slowly we have been doing it already but for the fact that we have been calling each other everyday and making that our expectation was bad. Now we can remedy that with Lyssa heading off to Penrith Panthers.

There is no way that Lyssa and I are going to keep calling each other every day this weekend as she will be out and so will I. Even in the last few days I have barely been talking to Lyssa on the phone where Thursday Lyssa and I didn’t even call each other on the phone. Rather, the only time I got to see Lyssa was when I had Keith drive me there so I could pick up my City Weekly newspaper.
