A Quiet Christmas Day
Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year. That seems to be the catch phrase today as I sit in my room, alone but content as I will be leaving for Lyssa’s house later in the night. I’m not bored as I’ve only been awake for the past two hours and I’m just thinking of everything that happened last night and the controversial but funny things that Lyssa told me about her night.
Strangely I don’t feel deterred about writing in my Diary today. Rather I have a feeling it has something to do with my Biorhythm Cycles and if you check out the graph you will understand that today is the first positive day for the mental Cycle.

Now to get back to my Diary entry, let me speak of last night before I head off tonight into an eternity away from my Diary’s ear. After my last entry I started playing the computer and once again with my outfit on to wear it in and also just to wear it I started feeling lonely. Lyssa had left early for Bradbury Pub and no one had called me as the time was ticking closer to 11:00 p.m.
Lonely And Dressed Up
For two hours before that I was playing the computer thinking it would be great if I could go out to Bradbury Pub or some nightclub but I had no one to go with. I started thinking that the last few days of this year were going to be bad and a let down. The year has broken and been on the steady for the last couple of months with me not moving forward so these last few days I would have liked to be memorable.
Sitting in my room thinking these lonely thoughts I heard a car out the front of my house and I gathered Lyssa was getting dropped off but then again, the car sounded like Keith’s car. Walking to the front door and peering out I heard a door shut and thought it was Lyssa coming up my driveway but instead it was Keith and still, to my delight.
Keith Turns Up
“Do you wanna come out tonight and celebrate Christmas" he asked me. Asking him what exactly he meant and keeping in mind that Lyssa was probably coming over soon (But she only said probably) he informed me that a bunch of us were heading to Chevy’s. Hearing that I automatically didn’t want to go but Keith with his over the top persuasion techniques tried to get it out of me.
Thinking about Lyssa once more I thought to myself “I shouldn’t sit home bored waiting for someone who probably won’t show up, I’m going to go out and have fun.” I was thinking in my head to leave a note on my door for Lyssa if she did come but I gathered that this wouldn’t be my problem. So I said to Keith I might go as he informed me that he was headed home to get dressed and then coming back to pick me up. Noah was in the car and we were picking up Ace and also meeting Brodie, Ned and Tyler in there.
Content now of going out I got myself dressed in my new Hound Dog outfit, cool. Twenty minutes after putting Brill Cream in my hair and preparing myself with perfume Keith came to my house and putting on my new shoes I was geared and ready to go. Jumping into his mum’s car we headed to Ace’s house where we were to pick him up and then meet everyone else in Chevy’s.
Butterflies Before The Club
The thought of going to Chevy’s and seeing people there that I knew was playing on my mind and it was giving me butterflies because I didn’t want to be judged because I wasn’t fully comfortable with what I was wearing. Parking at the front of Ace’s house he invited us in and as he did I used his toilet as I was busting from all the butterflies in my stomach.
Sitting down on his lounges he had himself a shower to prepare and in his excited and dancing mood he told me that I looked like Michael Hutchins from INXS or the guy who killed himself, whichever. Twenty minutes after Ace prepared and almost being midnight we jumped into the car and on our way to Chevy’s we headed.
Just driving past Chevy’s you could see there was a flurry of beautiful women and I was gearing to head up there but still worried about seeing everyone I knew. In the City no one knows me so therefore no one can judge me, especially if I get onto someone which I never do anyway. This neurotic disorder of mine is spreading from word of mouth.
This disorder where I have to be around beautiful women if they are near was made up by me but now it’s spread from Keith to Simon, Noah and Ace, who’s next. Jumping out of the car and parking way up the street as there were millions of parked cars we headed up to Chevy’s. On the way I had to go to the toilet once again and catching up to the others I found out that my new shoes were fairly heavy to walk in.
Not Sold On Chevy's
The bouncers once again didn’t worry about the expiration date on my license as I breezed through them and up into Chevy’s. Keith was shouting me in which is the reason I went but it ended up costing him double for each ticket because it was Christmas. Keith paid for me and Noah and it cost him $30 all up. Once in there I found out what Chevy’s was really like. To be honest I still didn’t like the atmosphere and how it was all placed out.
The dancing part was fairly small and it wasn’t like City nightclubs or even Gems where everyone dances everywhere. Instead there was a small stage and a metal rail separating the bar from the rest of the dance floor. Making our way to the back where all the seats were, Noah had to visit the toilet and we all noticed that he was droopy about coming out for the night preferring to get to sleep. Ace went to get himself a drink and I stuck around Keith still not quite used to the idea of being at Chevy’s.
When Noah came out of the toilets we made our way to the bar as Keith told me and while there Keith shouted me a drink as I walked to the counter and bought them. Standing near the railings to drink our drinks I noticed Jaromir, Redd, Bennett, Hudson and the rest of the shebang that hangs around with them. They were in the dancing area standing around and talking with a little bop in their steps.
Shock At My Outfit
Looking over they noticed Keith first because of his tall stature and every one of them was shocked and surprised at what I was wearing. When Redd looked at me he was so surprised he jolted back a step and then shook my hand as with pride. Nearly half the people in the club I knew because they were all from Campbelltown but only 20 of them I would be able to have a chat with, all being guys.
Walking onto the dance floor for our first mingle with the crowd I walked past Nadia who is Redd’s girlfriend. The crowd was thick and it was single file one way and single file the other way. When she was passing me she quickly glanced and said hello in a hurried way. Her eyes only came up long enough to say hello and then they went straight back to what she was doing making me feel like she thought ill of me and she didn’t want to chat at all.
Nadia has some problem with me and it could be from ages ago when I tried to chat her up at one of her parties at her house, when Kobi was going to fight Lucas. I’ve got no problem with Nadia, I just wish she’d be the same.
A Girl Who Would Not Leave
Starting to dance on the normal floor I got into the groove easily and loved the clothes I was wearing all the more as I could dance great in them. My first and only mishap of the night where a girl would come dance with me happened very early. There was a girl dancing with her group of friends and as I was just smoothly rolling my shoulders from side to side and moving to the beat, she looked over with a gleam in her eye and a smile on her face.
I knew that this meant she liked me and I was foolish to give a little smile back and then look away. Within seconds she made her way over to dance next to me and with that she put her hand around my shoulders and started dancing on the side of me. Acting like a girl probably would, I just kept doing my usual dance pretending she wasn’t there and hoping she would go away.
She wasn’t that attractive but she wasn’t a dog box but either way, I wouldn’t touch her. Letting me go for a split second I had my chance and noticing Ace and Keith who had moved away from them a couple of steps and bidding me to get away from her, I did. Making my escape I calmly walked closer into the middle of the dance floor and do what most girls do to guys, I turned my back on her. She didn’t bother me for the rest of the night.
