A Surprise Call From Lyssa

Troubled times once again undermine choices that I have to make, decisions that will affect someone’s pride or author hesitation and rumors within my confidants. This was all brought together by the turn of events that happened last night starting with Lyssa’s call at 1:00 a.m. This did come as a surprise to me because I thought it was Tatton calling up to inform me we were going out but I was happy. Lyssa asked me why I wasn’t out for Friday night and after that she informed me that she had noticed Ralf and Shawn at the Catholic Club.

What Happened At The Club

Explaining her night to me Lyssa sounded very sad while she spoke and later I found out the reason why. Lyssa told me that she was there with a fair few people including Nikita, Constantine, Jermaine and heaps of other people. Jermaine tried speaking to Lyssa all night and Lyssa informed me that she could only speak of me for the whole night, good things. “You know I love you” cried out Jermaine in a sarcastic way and Lyssa responded “I love Tony and I will always love him no matter what happens”.

Jermaine then told Lyssa he understood that she had to get some things off her Chest so as the conversation went on Lyssa kept saying more and more kind words about me. You draw your own conclusions to why Lyssa was feeling upset and saying good words about me but I know it’s for the reason that she ripped up my letters, had taken all her presents and was now feeling bad about it. Lyssa knew she loved me with a passion, not hate me with a passion and that’s why she felt so guilty and realized her love as it was always there.

Running Like We Used To

Telling Lyssa that I too thought about her she asked what thoughts in particular. That is when I informed Lyssa about my running to the toilet and back just like we used to do. Lyssa had a laugh about that and then told me that she done that a day or two ago chasing her cat and sighed because she now had no one to be chased around by.

Lyssa started telling me that she’s been upset and she’s been crying for the past few days. The last two or three nights she’s been going to bed around 7:30 p.m. and she hasn’t been going out with her friends for the reason that she’s upset.

After some inquiring about her problem she told me she was crying mostly because she was upset what she had done to me. Today when I talked to Lyssa she told me she was also upset because everyone else has plans but she never seems to have plans anymore. By that I guess she was referring to Ali and Penelope and the rest of people who are still couples. Lyssa was trying to say that me and her are not the same anymore and basically, it sucks.

Sweet Talk After One

Last night’s conversation was sweet bliss as Lyssa poured out her heart to me and I the same but cautiously to her as she had already torn my hearts desire before. Lyssa asked if she could come over on Sunday and give back my things and I told her that it would be a good idea. Monday these days Lyssa is back to morning College so she won’t be able to sleep over. Lyssa didn’t want to end her conversation with me last night, the loving was in the air but she was very tired and she knew she had to leave.

Informing Lyssa that I probably won’t get to sleep for the next couple of hours Lyssa thought to get a pillow and lie down in the kitchen to help me get to sleep but we both thought that was too far fetched. Asking what our plans would be for Sunday Lyssa told me “Whatever you want to do, I’ll do whatever you want to do” emphasizing the “I’ll do” part and making my thoughts run rampant.

Chasing Sleep Until Dawn

My conversation with Lyssa lasted for half an hour on Friday night and for the rest of the night I kept myself awake with the computer and television until 5:00 a.m. At this time I didn’t feel sleepy but I gathered that if I wanted to get up earlier I should make a conscious effort to get to bed earlier.

Conscious indeed I was for the next hour and a half as I tried music therapy to get me to sleep. After turning that off in twenty minutes I tossed and turned but couldn’t get comfortable and finally around 6:30 a.m. after stressing and throwing my hands in the air I fell asleep.
