Too Busy to Write
What can you do when you are too busy for two days to write in your Diary. It’s not the fact of being lazy but I’ve had no amount of free time to myself right until this time of writing in my Diary. With that let me begin on the thoughts I have already written here in my Diary and will eradicate one by one as I write those thoughts in detail.
Let me start with Monday after getting myself to sleep early in the morning. The time I woke up was 2:30 p.m. and knowing I didn’t want to spend the day at home bored by myself I had a shower, put some clothes on and headed to Campbelltown. The time I departed my house was around 3:00 p.m. and I knew I wouldn’t have much time to do what I needed to accomplish in Campbelltown.
Telstra and a Pretty Stranger
Taking half an hour to walk in a briskly warm day I made my way to the Telstra office paying $20 off my bill. From there I headed into the Mall where I used the toilet but along the way I noticed this blonde hair girl around 20 years old that was at the ice-cream shop. With her back to me she had a black suit top on and a short black work skirt and with the flow of straight blonde hair drifting to the middle of her back and her perfectly proportioned and utterly beautiful cleansed tan, she was hot.
Her skin appeared so soft and she looked so sweat and innocent but intelligent. This girl must have had everyone’s heart pumping with lust but mine was to look in respect of one I hope to have when I am married. Walking out of the toilet I walked past Tod with the MR2 and spoke to him for a minute as I told him I was headed to Centrelink.
Centrelink Before Closing
That was my next stop, Centrelink and passing that resplendent demoiselle once again I walked with content and satisfaction towards my destination. The smile was dampened as I stepped into Centrelink surprised that it was still open and then time was nearing 4:30 p.m. For ten minutes I checked jobs and Placements Agencies I could visit, I came out with two. My day was now complete and with none more to spend and none more to do I headed home and spent the next couple of hours lounging around.
The next couple of hours was devoted to eating, watching television and playing computer. Let me also just add that for the past month I rarely have dinner any more or even three good meals a day as I am always rushed out of home and visited by my friends. At night is the time of day I am usually out and as a result mum doesn’t make me dinner and sometimes it’s just left out.
Tatton Meets a Wall
Keith gave me a call at 9:30 p.m. asking me out to the Subway in Ingleburn and glad that this month wasn’t going to slow down as such to me going out I put on some shoes and jumped in when he arrived. In the car Keith informed me that we were meeting Binh, Vedat, Tatton and Shawn down there and he also notified me on how Tatton was on a driving lesson Sunday night with Shawn teaching him.
Everything went fine until he brought it home to park it and he ran his car into the brick wall that he was supposed to drive between. Poor Tatton, he can’t drive and I won’t like to be in his car when he does actually get his license. Tatton asked Keith not to pick me up because he thought I would continually hassle him about his car, he was right. Nevertheless, I didn’t hassle Tatton about his car but I still believe he’s a bad driver and that he should have bought an Automatic.
Lyssa at the Bank
Driving past the Commonwealth Bank in Campbelltown I noticed Lyssa at the bank using a card to get some money out. On the other side of the road was Penelope parked and I gathered Lyssa was getting money for Penelope but today I found out that St. Imad ATM’s weren’t working so Lyssa had to step across the road. When I noticed Lyssa and then looked over at Penelope I got angry. Not angry but a feeling came over me and that feeling made me believe that Lyssa and I will start to fall apart in our relationship as friends.
With Lyssa continually hanging out with Penelope and Ali I find that offensive and because I don’t need that in my life I know that our relationship will become distant and we will no longer converse as we usually do now. Lyssa snapped at me on Sunday night when I mentioned Ali to her. Now I’ve pieced together why she was so defensive over Ali.
Tonight I bumped into Tod (Jett’s friend with the Torana) and he told me the story of how Ali and him drove to the City on Saturday night. What surprised me was that Ali took his Celica out instead of his new RX7 and what surprised me more was that his car was confiscated from him for life because he done a burnout and the cops had seen it.
That would have been part of the reason Lyssa was so defensive for Ali. Because Lyssa’s so close to Ali now she feels for him and because I must have made a remark about him on Sunday night she protected his name against me. That I didn’t like and I still don’t, for Lyssa to have defended Ali over me because I feel that Lyssa wouldn’t have been as defensive if Ali was speaking ill of me. That’s part of the reason this month will see us making more space between us, we don’t see eye to eye especially on Ali.
Cricket Talk at Subway
Making our way to the Subway we noticed Binh and Vedat there but we gathered Tatton didn’t come because he was afraid I’d put shit on him. Sitting down on the table with Binh and Vedat we talked about their day of Cricket. Ten minutes later Shawn and Tatton showed up and also sitting down on our now crowded table they kept talking more of Cricket.
Everyone on the table except for Tatton and I were on their cricket team and I found out they lost their first game on Monday night by a couple of runs. Binh decided to be the sponsor of the team and because of that he bought the team uniform for them advertising his bakery on the shirt.
Gridiron Versus Footy
Discussion also turned to which sport was more full contact and aggressive, rugby league or gridiron in America. Everyone was opposing me when I told them that the roughest sport would have been gridiron but they all seemed to think that because footballers don’t wear padding they distinctly hit harder. My argument was simple, for the fact that gridiron allows helmets and padding, that gives players all the more reason to hit harder and break bodies in tackles.
In Gridiron every player hits every other player on the field in every play. In Football the person who has the ball is the only one who is tackled on every play. There aren’t as much hit ups in Football as there are in Gridiron and from my experience, I lay my body on the line in every tackle, throwing myself sideward at the opposition, clashing helmets to the body, to the legs, four man tackles and all in contact.
The only real protection that Gridiron players have is a helmet and Chest plate, that’s it. Also in Gridiron head high tackles and everything else is allowed, it’s awarded, and how much times have you seen players in Gridiron flipped in tackles landing on all different areas of their bodies, hard. My point is simple, Gridiron is much more contact and aggression than Football.
Modem Night Begins
After our talks and quarrels had ceased Binh and Vedat had to leave and as Tatton jumped in his car with Shawn I jumped in with Keith. There was nothing happening for the night as we headed into Campbelltown and because of that Keith decided it was time to head home. The night was ending at 11:00 p.m. and as we drove to my house and I was dropped off Shawn and Tatton popped over. Both of them were asking if I would like them to bring over the modem so we could connect to the internet and seeing this as a good opportunity to check out the History of Celica’s I agreed.
For twenty minutes I waited at my house and I commented in point form about my night. Having something to eat I let them in at 11:30 p.m. and hooking up the modem we had two hours in front of us just talking on Alamak Chat. The telephone line was crackling constantly and that prevented the modem from establishing a good connection but after reconfiguring the computer and trying a couple of times we connected.
Alamak wasn’t all that fun, you get bored of the internet after a while. We tried making our own fun and hassling people but the most fun came when I opened up four more screens and four more names for myself in Alamak. Even though it wasn’t as good as when I was taking the side of the Devil against God in my last epic battle over the waves of the net, it was alright. Shawn and Tatton were enjoying the bent humor that I was typing up on the screen and after hassling out some ops and a couple of people we were kicked off.
Shopping for a Seance
Our thoughts were then to start an Ouija, just the three of us. With no candles or even matches at my house we jumped into Tatton’s car and headed to the Road Pantry in Leumeah where we bought some munchies and the essential tools needed for a séance. Back at my house we set up the letters on part of my television cabinet making the letter ‘Y’ of ‘Yes’ into a Trident and the letter ‘N’ of ‘No’ into a cross for Jesus.
Turning off the lights I had fun with the six candles placing one in a toothpick holder and another four close to each other on a pencil holding box. Having fun with the idea I had three candles right next to each other and dug a match into the end two candles. Facing the matches upwards I had them cross over the third one and touching heads so that when the candle burnt as low as the match they would light us up, hopefully at a scary point in the séance.
Tatton took one of his biscuits that was shaped in a teddy bear and decided to lay it down with a hole through its Chest and fill it full of candle wax as a virgin sacrifice. Myself, I crossed five matches to make a five-pointed star. Yes we were being idiots.
