Tatton’s Terrible Driving Night (Part 4) – Mad Chaos: October 1, 1998

My necklace was taken off when I went to sleep at 6:00 a.m. this morning and because it was warm in my room from such a summer’s day I didn’t cover my naked body that much. I’ve got to remind myself to turn my bed down, might as well do it now. Upon waking up today at 1:00 p.m. from such a long sleep my neck hurt real bad. Because of that I decided to have a warm shower and try and loosen it somewhat, didn’t really work. Right now, my neck is alright but it’s just because I’m so warm when I sleep, my neck stiffens.

Today I didn’t go out anywhere (If you exclude coming from the City) and apart from staying in doors all day I had ten minutes of sun baking outside. I also found out that I’m getting paid the advance payment tomorrow so I’m gearing for a trip to Parramatta where I can get all of my shopping done at the same time. There is a mad surf shop down there that has the maddest bikinis for girls. Therefore, I have to find me a beach girl and buy her some bikinis to my taste, yep. It’s been three months now since Lyssa and I broke up now, that’s plenty of time to start moving on now, it’s about time and it feels right. My Optus bill should be over when my next link payment comes in two Monday’s from now and Telstra should be paid in a fortnight after that. Well, if I find myself a job before then I won’t need the link anymore. Tatton told me that I should apply for a job with Mobil and everyone keeps saying it’s easy money to me so maybe I should get myself a part time job with them for some quick summer cash, buy a car and there you have it.

Imad is supposed to come over tonight, he said it yesterday anyway but I’m not sure if he’s going to show. Keith might also come and pop over but I’m not expecting him to. This month has brought a couple of changes hasn’t it. The comeback once again of my friends previous to Ali, the fact that my payment is coming through and the fact that I will be job ready from tomorrow, cool. The beach this weekend is something else that is going to be cool, can’t wait for it…

Thursday 11:33 p.m.

From staying up all night and getting up at 1:00 p.m. today, now this, I am feeling lethargic already. This schedule of mine to keep waking up early is working for me, for some reason. Before my eyes dost tighten these lids, let mine day be remembered somewhat more.

After my last entry I had myself hot dogs to eat and then tried having another relaxing shower for the day. Rubbing soap over my face and shoulders while relaxing with the warm waters I heard a motorbike out the front of my house and knew Jett was over. Jumping out and placing a towel around me I answered the door and let Jett into my room. Needing to have a shower I apologized and jumped back in the shower and I wasn’t surprised to hear Jett say “I’m going to use your phone okay.” Knowing that Jett would ring Min-Su I spent some time in the shower, washing and brushing my teeth.

Wiping myself down with an already dampened towel used around my waist before to open the door to Jett I patted myself down and putting some boxer shorts on walked into my room. Voices apart from the television were coming from within my room and I realized Jett was still on the phone. Who else would he be on the phone to, Min-Su. They talked of tomorrow and I found out that Tatton wants to take Min-Su to the movies at the City with Shawn and then they can go clubbing. Min-Su was considering it but she asked Jett if she thought it would be a good idea for her to go, like she was already going out with the boy. Jett was pissed off by the fact that Min-Su (Now that she has confessed liking him) has become too clingy with the fact they could be going out when in reality they aren’t. Jett still holds a grudge against Min-Su neglecting the obligation of going out with Min-Su. If you ask me Jett doesn’t know what he wants and Min-Su listens to childish Tamsen too often and she too becomes childish in her ways.

Tamsen can be so naive and childish in the best of her days. Jett informed me of how he was over Min-Su’s house the other day and Tamsen was being obvious about the two of them. Tamsen was getting a kick out of being the teacher and Mrs. ‘I know everything about dating so I’ll be sarcastic towards the both of you and treat you like children who don’t know what to do next’. Tamsen is like Ali but only more pathetic in the excuse that she can’t butt out of other people’s affairs and let them handle it themselves. Even if the both of them weren’t Einstein in their theory of getting together and it took them a year, they did it without pressure from other people and the way they both felt comfortable about. But, for Tamsen to be so sarcastically pushy in the situation, she needs to back off. In the past her attitude pissed me off when she thought she would be funny about Lyssa dancing topless on tables so my mood on her hasn’t changed one bit. She’s still an attention seeker and still a bitch to my eyes. To all that fuck me up in some way, my silence is the greatest pain that bear I for they. How much in the near future have been silenced, Ali, Jewell, Tamsen, Keith, Phoenix, Penelope and Lyssa but I still talk with her now along with Keith. The people I don’t talk to anymore, I have no guilty conscience of, they have it and fuck them.

Jett took an hour with his telephone conversation and despite not wanting to go out with Min-Su he’s making plans with her sometime next weekend. Finally jumping off the phone at 8:30 p.m. we talked about the conversation then I found out how much board shorts would cost me along with a beach towel. Jett told me that he had seen Penelope driving today and the funny thing he noticed was that Lyssa was in the front seat and Ali was seated in the back. What’s that, a Muslim thing and is Ali the wife, he he he. Lyssa is probably going out with Penelope to the Catholic Club and Ali might be tagging along as he probably has no life but Penelope. Women do take up too much of your life, it’s disputed to be true. Look at me back in the day with Lyssa. The only person I hung out with was Ali because it was easier. Now that I’m no longer with Lyssa I once again have friends but hear me now… My hopes are that my next girlfriend will not take me away from my friends. Rather, my friends will appreciate her enough to talk to her, as she was one of their friends and with no embarrassment. Either that or I don’t see my girlfriend that much.

We then planned for Jett to come over tomorrow where we can play the Play Station (And I can kick his ass in ‘John Madden Football’). Saturday Jett and I (Along with whoever wants to come) are visiting Cronulla beach along with Miranda shopping center and we aren’t taking boards this time. Sunday Jett might come to the beach again if the weather is right and Sunday night might be a good night to be at Simon’s house for that party. So, my weekend is pretty much planned, the day portions of it anyway. Maybe on Saturday night Keith will take his car out and I will be in it but we’ll have to see what happens.

Upon Jett’s departure I’ve been listening to music and watching television. The last two hours I’ve just been sorting out the grammar and spelling mistakes in March 1996, so that’s the first month all done. I’m going to hate coming up to the latest editions of my Diary because there will be so much errors and so much more pages of stressing errors. It’s a good thing I’m late because I can wake up early tomorrow to head for Parramatta and get home early for Jett to come over with his Play Station. The good thing about getting more money is that I can spend more money on the Gym now, at least two more congenial visits. So close to getting myself within a job now, so close…
