A Day Out With Lyssa in Parramatta (Part 3) – Mad Chaos: October 6, 1998

Lyssa was shocked and we were both laughing as there were a couple of people in the shop. This lady made a comment about letting guys touch your make up and finding some tissues close to hand I started wiping away at Lyssa’s eye. When I was all done Lyssa’s eyebrow was a very distinctive purple color under her eyebrow hair so some more wiping off made it less distinguished. Lyssa and I didn’t really get embarrassed, I was just worried that it didn’t get into Lyssa’s eye. No one really paid much attention to it until Lyssa and I both started laughing at the irony of the situation. When all the goo was clear from Lyssa’s face Lyssa bought some fake tan and some cleansing stuff for her skin and then placing the tissues in the bin we had one last reminder and then made our way home.

My legs were aching by the time we jumped on the train and heading back to Campbelltown Lyssa asked if I would wait with Lyssa for her bus. Hoping she would ask me to her house and then some more after that I didn’t really think she would so I didn’t hold that against her. Lyssa wasn’t going to work on Wednesday because of the train strike. That’s the reason she went to Parramatta. Lyssa didn’t attend College but she didn’t really want to lie about not being at College so she thought ringing from a payphone in Parramatta would be as good as gold. Figuring that Lyssa wasn’t going to work I thought that would be the best opportunity for Lyssa to sleep over my house or for her to invite me to her house so I could sleep there. However, I didn’t want to ask Lyssa to sleep over and hoped that this is what she was also thinking.

At the start of the day I told myself not to get excited about going out with Lyssa and then going home with her. Lucky that was in my mind because it cushioned my mind when Lyssa and I separated at her bus stop. I thought Lyssa was going to ask me to her house and because she wasn’t going to work the next day and she stayed home from College she would sleep at my house. But that didn’t happen, Lyssa didn’t say much at the bus stop to reassure me, just thanks and not wishing to stay until Lyssa’s bus came (Judgment hour for me and reality) I caught the next train home. Lyssa lent me some money for the bus home but needing some money for the Gym since I spent it on chewing gum I walked my way home. Lyssa and I didn’t kiss or anything to do with hugging. Rather, we kept saying goodbye to each other and as my train arrived I jumped on.

Looking back to see if Lyssa was looking towards the train, I wasn’t surprised that she wasn’t. Seated in the back part of the train I noticed some guy in front of me also looking towards Lyssa and didn’t really pay attention to him. When we arrived at Campbelltown this dude jumped up and I was surprised to find it was Jermaine, the one who likes Lyssa. He didn’t show much fascination in seeing me (Maybe he knew I was behind him) but when I noticed him I gave him a second look, I was astonished at the fate of this. Coming home walking I gave Lyssa a call around 6:30 p.m. and told her how I had seen Jermaine. Lyssa was watching television and asking if she was bored she told me no. Asking if she wanted to speak Lyssa sincerely told me no and asking why she noted that we had spent the whole day together. That didn’t cut at all and it finally sunk in that nothing was happening between Lyssa and I for that night, most probably never in our existence again. Lyssa is over me or so she says and I too would like to think I am almost over her.

For the rest of the night I watched television but only an hour into my night Keith gave me a call. Wanting to know if I would like to watch another movie I agreed with him and so he came to pick me up ten minutes later. Putting some shoes on we headed to Ingleburn to look for Simon so he could also come with us. Checking his work he wasn’t there so Keith gathered that he would be at the under 18’s nightclub in Ingleburn ‘Escape’, what I used to go to. Nope, Simon wasn’t there but Filipo and Rory were there, lame. Calling Simon’s parents phone we finally found him but found that he was headed for Queensland tomorrow. The reason, Simon had to renew his only license in Australia, his Queensland license. In Queensland you don’t have to go for a test, you just get your license and that’s what he did. You’re not supposed to hold a Queensland License in NSW but he’s come up with some story that gets him out of shit.

The thing that’s stupid about this whole ordeal is that all Simon has to do is pay off $250 worth of fines and he can get his license here once again. It’s going to cost Simon some money to drive to Queensland and then two missed days of work to get this license so in the long run it would be more efficient to pay his fines and get a NSW license. Simon is so bad with money, he can’t pay anyone let alone the loan on his car or any of his fines. He’s just barely surviving and is in the red every day of his life.

Driving back towards Campbelltown Keith got some petrol and we noticed the runs were out and Ali was in his usual spot, behind Mobil. Seeing anything that reminds me of that dickhead makes me sick to think about him. Lyssa told me not too long ago that Keith was a bigger dog than Ali, I fail to agree. In Keith’s case, Tamsen was the bigger dog, Keith just went along with her and got caught up in it with his coyness. Keith was being a dickhead but unlike Ali, he tried for my friendship, for my forgiveness, he tried to understand and kept trying. Finally, we are friends again and it is only building from this point on. In Ali’s case, he dogged me (Key word is “Me”) and then acted as if he’s in the right, didn’t bother to fix the problem and therefor, he is worse off. Ali dogged me with no respect towards his faith, Keith was just being stupid on the night. Both of them were in the wrong but I forgave Keith, I will never forgive Ali, he sickens me with his fake life.

The movie that Keith and I watched was called ‘Something About Mary’ and let me say it was a huge crack up of comedy. At first it didn’t show much initiative but halfway through the movie I really started to enjoy the comedy. Cameron Diaz is hot in the movie, that’s no lie. When the movie was over Keith drove his mum’s car (Since his car is in the shop until Friday) to Campbelltown so he could check his account. While that was happening I was whistling at girls walking up the street and doing a U Turn I was being somewhat more sarcastic, giving death stares and blowing kisses, you know, the usual Satanist deal. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that as we approached Macarthur Square we noticed Jett on the payphone, motorbike beside him talking on the phone. We asked if he would like to go to the movies but Jett was speaking to Min-Su, probably for more than an hour. Keith called Min-Su’s house while we were in the movies, engaged. That means Jett was talking with her for at least two and a half hours, that boy has the touch of the love bug.

Getting dropped off just before midnight I had a bit to eat and started writing in this Diary. You will not imagine what the time is now but I hope I don’t start getting into my late night schedule. The time is 2:53 a.m. now but I did stop once or twice from typing to rest my eyes and fingers. Now as we come to an end let me just add two more pointless (Or at least it seems but it could mean so much) facts about today. Coming back home from Liverpool I noticed Jett’s brother Stan on the platform but he didn’t see me. Coming out of the movies I also noticed Sankar, he was also in the movies with us but once again, he either didn’t notice me or thought it best not to make contact with me.

Today I didn’t go to the Gym and I am really tired and ready to crash right now. I’m just wondering if Lyssa tried calling me around 9:30 p.m. after Beverly Hills 90210 finished, maybe not. When I wake up in the morning I will prepare myself for the Gym, it’s been a while and I have to devote myself towards that. But for now, let me rest, let me sleep and from my mind shalt you hear no peep.
