A Blue Haired Night in the City (Part 4) – Mad Chaos: October 17, 1998

Everyone was amazed by how beautiful and well proportioned these girls were and I was curious as to why they thought the other blonde (Which had a real nice face I might add and better blonde hair) was their choice where clearly the girl with the blue top was model material, and in my reach. Walking back downstairs to where Jett and Min-Su were making out we sat next to them and told them of the experience that we had. Soon after our train appeared and we jumped onto a carriage with no other people on it, bonus for our loud mouths.

Shawn, Fred, Tatton and I were all on a high from seeing the other two girls and with that in mind, every station that we passed in the City we would stand at the doors to see who would be walking in. Reaching near Central (Maybe at it) there were two girls and a guy that jumped on, one of them looked very hot in her knee high black boots and the four of us were whispering to her and shouting out to her to come into our carriage. Our message was unheeded and so we sat in our carriage being hooligans. Two security Guards were on the other carriage and one of them kept staring at the four of us who were sitting near the doors, yep those seats. To be a prick to them and make them feel intimidated I started acting drunk and kept falling from one side of the seats to the other in a comical fashion. This kept on for about a minute or two and I had everyone in stitches. The Security Guard wasn’t amused but I didn’t care, I was having fun humiliating his idea of working on the job.

Deciding to go for a walk on the train we walked past Jett and Min-Su who were getting onto each other in an empty carriage, what else can they do. Into the next carriage we stumbled and then once again into the next and this is where we found the girls and the guy that stumbled onto the train at Central. Walking past them we cruised down the next set of stairs to find that it was the last carriage. That’s when I concocted a plan that would get us talking to the girl we fancied. Even though there was a guy with the two of them we figured he had his own woman and this other lady who was sitting with them was relatively distanced meaning, she was ours. The girls were sitting on the seats nearest to the doors and coming up with a sinister plan I thought it would be best if we sat on the seats downstairs that would be right next to the stairs so we could see them. Taking up two of the front seats we began our spectacle and became a spectacle ourselves as the girl in the knee high boots known as Rhiannon looked downstairs and had a small smirk on her face.

If Shawn never bet Tatton a bottle of bear that he wouldn’t walk up and sit opposite of them we would never have started conversation with them but he did and we did. As soon as Tatton sat across from them I didn’t know what was happening and heard Rhiannon say “There’s my dad” and pointing at Tatton. Wearing his red Hawaii shirt they then made more fun of him asking “Are you a drug dealer, are you a priest, are you my dad.” Deciding to aid Tatton I myself walked up and sat next to Tatton, so now it was two of us and three of them. More and more we delved into conversation as the guy told us that Rhiannon’s dad was a priest and a stripper on Saturday night’s. Not really believing that, this gave me opportunities to find my voice and find it I did as we sparked up a conversation. Slowly Shawn and Fred came upstairs and then all of us sparked conversation. The guy reminded me of the wanna be white nigger in ‘Can’t Hardly Wait’ who gets stuck in the toilet. Conversation was going well and what we hoped would happen happened, the girl and guy jumped off the train soon after we arrived, it was their stop. Rhiannon’s friend forgot her jumper and lucky Shawn reminded her of it or else it would have been Rhiannon’s. Maybe it was her way of conjuring a plan but I doubt it.

Figuring that Rhiannon would now be a bit embarrassed with four guys and just her I took the opportunity to sit on her side figuring that it would make her more comfortable having my friends also looking at me rather than just her. This also gave me a chance to sit near her and it was a good move as not only was I centered in her conversation but I had the chance to converse more. Maybe this was also due to the fact that no one but Shawn was really saying much but we all had a great time talking about Chevy’s. Rhiannon’s been there about four times and she lives in Bexley North or some place ten minutes walk from there, Earlwood I think. Rhiannon told us that Chevy’s was a hole and it’s well known for being nothing, she laughed at the thought of saying the word ‘Chevy’s’.

As conversation flowed I was thinking to work in a way to maybe get her to come to Chevy’s or even get her number and finding a smooth way to find out her name I didn’t get as far as I thought I should. Besides, we started talking about age, (The age game) and upon finding out that she was 24 I spun out. If she was 24 then she was a young 24 but looking at her you could see it from her. Also, when you look at her, with her black hair, knee high boots, skirt and black top you see something in her. Her complexion and face is pretty nice and tanned but with the totally black hair that she has dyed for herself, you would look at her and think she could suck me dry any day of the week. Once the age game was done I figured she was a bit too old for me but she did look interested to some degree. Nevertheless, her stop came and even though I didn’t get her number or invite her to Chevy’s (Which she almost did for herself but realized she had a party tonight) I told her that if she ever sees us in Campbelltown say hello. Rhiannon also told us that the barkeeper called Rafferty at Chevy’s knows her. If we walked up to him and asked if he knew Rhiannon and Marley he would nod his head and agree.

When Rhiannon made her descent from the train we all kicked ourselves for not getting anything from her but that’s the way it goes. With our confidence up we once again paraded the train and this time thought we should walk past the security guards and tantalize them a little. Two of us went up and two of us went down and the four of us ended up sitting on the seats where the doors are and also where the guards were. One of the guards must have been feeling a bit uncomfortable, he wasn’t looking at us. Trying to liven the situation and get some laughs going I started to swear in Yugoslavian and noticed an old guy look straight at me sitting two seats away. Shawn also noticed this and we all gathered he was Yugoslavian. That made the situation more funny and then I spoke to him in Yugoslavian “Those two Guards are idiots, they don’t know what they are doing” and he looked at me, smiled and with no words just nodded his head. I’m not sure what was funnier, what I was saying to him in Yugoslavian or the fact that every time I spoke in my language he would just look at me, smile and nod his head. Other things I said while pointing at Shawn and Tatton were “Those two guys over there are from Hawaii” and other jargon.

Tatton and I then started speaking in our Ullabi language about the security guards and as the Yugoslavian guy was jumping off the train I waved him goodbye, everyone did. He was a pretty good sport too, didn’t say anything though. Maybe he had some problem with his tongue that disallowed him the chance to speak. When that fun was done and over we made our way once again to another carriage and sitting near the doors on the other carriage with a guy that looked pretty beaten up and sleeping we started looking upstairs. Shawn told me that there were four girls up there sitting in a bunch speaking to each other and it was my turn to make the moves this time.

Well, that should be enough from me for now. That’s the brink of last night and that is when we were headed home so when I get back tonight from the City I might finish off that chapter. Let’s just hope that I don’t slack off once again and take my time in writing the shit. Shawn just gave me a call and basically told me Keith was coming and to go to his house. Well Keith’s here so I gotta go…
