Now for the real shit… Setting up the Bench Press with my new top weight of 140 pounds I asked for some assistance off a dude happy to help. Doing some pushups to warm-up and some more stretching we were off and I was surprised that I pushed out 6 reps by myself and then three more reps to finish a grueling set. Placing the weight down to 130 pounds I performed 3 more reps, two reps and then it was time for quits. I can argue with my mind in thinking that I dropped to a further 120 pounds for some loose reps but I’m not sure about that. Next on the agenda was Incline Dumbbell Press and I stumbled across this because another apparatus was taken. Surprised with my performance I used 45 pound Dumbbells and performed 10 reps. Placing the weight up to 50 pounds I then performed 7 reps before conking out.

Keeping the performance high and not slacking off with weight I moved to Peck Deck once more and with 110 pounds performed 10 reps. Still not free with my desired machine I moved to assisted dips and with 20 pounds to assist I performed 8 reps. Placing the assistance to 60 pounds I performed 8 more reps. There were only two more sets left and with my Seated Machine Bench Press now free I placed the weight to 120 pounds and performed a grueling 7 reps. My last set was with Pullovers and I managed to crank out 9 reps with 60 pounds, strenuous shit.

Biceps: Once again opting with the smaller muscle group of Biceps I really hammered this one out with new record weight. Starting with a warm-up on Standing Cable Curls I done 15 reps with 30 pounds then reduced it for a further 10 reps with 20 pounds. After a small rest I raised the weight up to 60 pounds and managed a killer 10 reps, very hard shit. Wiping the sweat that poured from my face (And even my arms) I had a needed rest. Next was Alternate Dumbbell Curls and with 30 pounders I performed 8 reps each hand and then an extra 2 reps. Wow, I only done three sets but it seemed like so much more. The last set was on Preacher Cable Curls with 35 pounds and I pounded out 10 reps, also hard.

Back: The extent of these exercises was also short lived as I started to get tired about now. Time had slowly passed and taking too long with my warm-up I started to get lazy on the back. Warming up on Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns with 30 pounds and 15 reps and then on Seated Cable Rows with the same amount of weight and reps I rested for my larger sets. That rest was too long but it did see me punch out 10 reps with Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns two consecutive sets with 70 pounds. My last set was with a confusing 70 pound Dumbbell in one hand. The exercise was One Arm Dumbbell Rows and I wasn’t sure if I had used this weight recently, it was heavy. The form was a little bad but I managed 8 reps and then 2 more reps after a brief stop.

Abdominals: Last of the day’s workout I performed 30 reps of Machine Ab Crunches with 30 pounds and then jumped onto Rope Pulley Ab Crunches with 90 pounds and performing 15 reps. That set did tire me and for my last set on Machine Ab Crunches I performed 20 reps because the hip flexors in my legs were starting to tense really badly.

That was the end of my workout and before heading home I bought some more fish and chips. Next workout I’m going to concentrate on basic exercises for my Chest. Normal Bench Press and then Dumbbell Incline and Decline press along with pullovers and some machine work. That should bring in enough beef to my Chest to finally try 160 pounds for Bench Press the next workout. Next workout I’ll also work out my shoulders and triceps a little bit, concentrate on them somewhat.

Reaching home at 5:30 p.m. I viewed television for a couple of hours and just when the good shows were coming on and I had a stack in front of me to eat Keith called me. Keith was with a bunch of people and asked if I wanted to watch a movie at the Cinema’s again. Telling Keith that I was just about to eat he told me that they were almost at my house so he gave me time to eat as they waited out the front. At first I thought Keith was driving and I knew Tatton was in the car as I could hear him doing his Chewbacca from the car. Getting dressed and turning all the lights off I made my way to the car. To my surprise Simon was driving and jumping in the back Keith, Shawn and Tatton were also in the car.

Making our way to the movies they all wanted to see ‘Blade’ again and I was wondering why as all of them had seen it before. Highlights of the night in briefing were when we all made our way to Fun n Games and four of us (Excluding Shawn) played Daytona again. I almost won it by an upset again slamming two players on the wall on the last lap but Simon got past me and won it on the last second. It was a bit ironic how I told him first time players that are inexperienced tend to win the games like I did my first game. It was Simon’s first game and he won, I guess my one game was more experience than him, that’s why I came second. After our game we made our way back into the Cinema complex and looking over at the games in the complex I noticed Constantine with her boyfriend playing one of the games. Surprised that Constantine actually acknowledged me (Not like most of Lyssa’s friends) I waved to her with a smile on my face and she waved back too. Constantine is a nice girl isn’t she, outspoken as the first day I met her but without contention, waving as if I was her splendor. Just that show of courtesy and decency made part of my day and made me believe that all of Lyssa’s friends weren’t self-centered. I’d be just as happy to raise my hand in acknowledgement at them if they had the same views towards me. Most of the times I don’t wave or acknowledge Lyssa’s friends because they do the same to me, they snob me off. I look at them to see if they will look in my direction but usually they try hard not to look at me, afraid of something.

The movie was once again good and the second time around it was a bit boring but I got to see the start this time. Not having a ticket myself everyone else bought a ticket but while Simon was getting food and Keith had his ticket the four of us walked in. That was a bit cruel and funny but in a minute I made my way back outside to give him a stub so we could both walk back in. To my surprise I had seen him in the reflection of the door haggling his way in and it was lucky I didn’t walk around otherwise his plan would have been foiled. Simon was saying that a friend inside had his ticket that was true but if I walked out and they had seen me with two stubs, there goes the plans. We took over three rows at the back left-hand side and all of us had our feet on the seats. I was actually more comfortable with my feet on the ground but there were times when I was a bit more adventurous, call it that if you may.

The trip back home, everyone was getting dropped off, me last. Simon’s car didn’t fuck up, his timing belt just came off and his dad bought him a new one. That’s what the two of us talked about on the way to my house and walking out of his car and saying goodbye I made my way to this room. Now I sit here very tired with the hairdryer at my feet to keep me warm. There’s no real logic to that as I wasn’t really cold in the first place but I guess being lethargic does it to your senses. My typing is getting slower and becoming slurred, mistakes are now happening more easily. With all now said of the day and hopefully no key parts missed out I’m going to withdraw my mighty fingers from the keyboard and sleep so divine tonight. My eyes are pretty tired, that’s a good sign.
