So early in the morning I woke up and I had myself some tea and used the nose stuff that you drip into your nose to clear the sinuses. It worked and coming back downstairs I tried getting back to sleep, no problem this time. Walking around in the morning I started to freeze for some reason and jumping into my bed I used the hair dryer for a couple of minutes. Getting to sleep this time was easy but I was surprised to find that I would sweat easily from here on. At times I would have to use a towel near my bed to dry my body, it was pretty damp. Because of this some of the sheets were getting sweat over them. Damn this flu…
This morning I woke up at 10:00 a.m. and straight away jumped into the shower. Sitting on the floor for a little while I enjoyed the warmth of the water dripping all over my body, like a tiny massage all over my body. Washing my hair and brushing my teeth I found myself clearing my nose most of the time. From there I had some milk to soothe my throat, it done some good. Now I’m typing here in my Diary and as the time is now 11:50 a.m. it is almost time for me to consider heading for Liverpool to that Job Search Training place. Although, my mum came in with a letter that is saying I have an interview on October 6th so I’m going to ring up and see what the story is. You would not believe how much tissues and snot I’ve gone through in the last three days. Every time I walk upstairs I collect about five pieces of tissues and I’ve walked up more then fifteen times, think about that one…
Monday 4:48 p.m.
The time has come once again in the year where I better myself. Be it by clothes, by having a job, money, making myself smell good or buying a car, the time has come. This flu that I have will be the end of a cold epidemic. The Lost Years are over The Recognition is in progress and as soon as the new month is upon us there will dawn a new era. This new age has no name as yet but as the other’s have been conceived and confirmed, so will the new era.
Just coming home today from Liverpool I was thinking to myself and trying to make a list of the things that I don’t do that people would consider bad. Let me run through that list for you right now of what I recall. I don’t spit, don’t smoke, don’t drink alcohol, don’t drink coffee, don’t have sugar, don’t have salt, don’t wear shorts, don’t go to Nightclubs and that’s about all I can think of right now. Only recently have I started to place sugar with my food as I had Weet Bix this morning and tea needs sugar too. The reason I don’t have sugar is because I’m afraid it will rot my teeth quicker so I eat more savory foods. Never do I spit unless I’m in the shower and cleaning my teeth at the same time but today was the exception. As I was walking home with the sun beating down on me I bought two drinks for the day because my throat was so dry and sore it would be almost impossible to swallow. Phlegm was also hanging around the back of my throat and being swollen it was hard to cope with it. Well, as I was walking home I had to spit out because lots of mucus had gathered in my mouth and I wasn’t drinking that back in. Years have gone by since I’ve spat outdoors and today was a historical day. Could this be part of The Recognition.
Getting to my days agenda let me begin with the walk to Campbelltown, it was nice. Buying my concession ticket from Campbelltown station (It was a miracle that the machines were actually open, both of them) and then caught the next train to Liverpool. Lucky for me the train was only stopping at Glenfield and then Liverpool otherwise I would have been late. Unluckily I forgot to bring tissues because I thought I wouldn’t need it traveling around in fresh air, boy was I wrong. Before leaving from Campbelltown I visited the toilets gathered some toilet paper in my pocket, blew my nose heavily and was then on my way. On the train I had to blow my nose again and when we stopped at Glenfield I quickly ran out to place the ragged tissues into the bin.
Jumping off the train I made my way to the Job Seeker place. What I noticed once walking in was that there were more older people there than young people, strange. Not to give too much conversation about the boring surroundings of this place, let me just continue from where the guy came out and we made our way into the ‘Talking Room’. Basically he just told us he’ll help us look for work, gave us a few pieces of paper each, some pencils, made us fill out some forms and after telling us what the jiff was and that we had to be on their rolls for 30 days we signed a form and were on our way. Because my throat was so sore I didn’t talk that much and when he came to me looking at my resume and asking me questions I must have sounded shy or stupid. What I thought was stupid was his skepticism for my finding a job in the field I wanted to find one in, Graphic Arts or Word Processing. How much people out there are discriminating or one sided to my hopes of success in the field I want. I just felt like shouting out “What, don’t you think I have what it takes”. Success comes from within and I know what I can achieve, if they can’t see that, they never will see that.
Having the whole day to myself and not really wanting to come back home too soon I made my way to Westfield Shopping where I thought I would just walk around for a while. That’s exactly what I did for about half an hour and while I was walking around looking like I was on a mission at times and a lost boy at others I noticed two very hot girls. One of them had hipsters on and you know how I love hipsters these days. This girl looked like she had a ‘hound dog’ shirt on and it appeared as if she didn’t have a bra on under this thin material. These two girls were as old as me and the one I just mentioned was tone and a tad muscular where the other girl was somewhat taller and looked smarter. The first girl had the look and with her all black glasses and beautiful blonde-brown hair, she had the look. Her boobs like every other girl these days was around 12b and let me tell you, they hung good if she wasn’t wearing a bra.
The second girl which I thought was hotter (Although I would normally go with the first one I mentioned because she was hot as and had an attitude) had the longest legs and the first thing I noticed was the split in her black skirt. The skirt would have been normal size on any girl but this beauty made it look stunning. The split went up her leg and once again, ‘Hound Dog’ clothing. Her hair was blonde and up in one of them smart do’s. The reason I keep mentioning she looked smart is for the fact that she was skinny, tall and was wearing optical glasses for the fun of it. Her face was sweet, unscathed and her cheek bones were slim. The legs were an attraction to consider more than anything else but lust was in the legs, my mind was in her eyes and face.
At Westfield Shoppings they only walked past me for a second and I only had seen them for a couple of seconds but I noted the taller, smarter looking girl had looked at me as I had to her. Walking around a large staircase and against my will I pursued them from a distance, well I didn’t pursue them but I went back that way. Heading around a corner it took me a couple of seconds to get there and then I lost them. They either walked out of Westfield or they kept on walking around so I took the alternative of walking around some more. In that time I checked the information desk thing where they have a map of the shopping complex to see if I could pay my Telstra Eric. While looking for my destination another pretty girl being my age walked up and giving her some space and being courteous allowed her to stand next to me and also look. Peering over at her once or twice without making it obvious I thought she was attractive and was wondering if she came along because she liked me. I was going to ask her about Telstra and make some idle conversation but due to my throat and how bad I would sound I thought I would postpone it for a while.
