Get Chaos Screen Recorder on Google Play
A new version, with feature images
At 12:50 p.m. the new Chaos Screen Recorder version was uploaded to Google Play Console, pending changes. I made some feature images so I could promote the app for closed testing, and those images produced some rich design and concept ideas that I wanted inside the app. I had it make some changes. The Play Console release history shows this release going out at 4:36 p.m.
Two apps tangled together
While I was doing the upgrade I got this app tangled up with another one, and it all got messy. I had to make some changes, but eventually I got into a rhythm. The screen recorder was still in publication review, so I could not even check it. Not many people wanted to be closed testers either, which was taking time.
I spent about half an hour getting Polymatrix up with its own AAB file in Google Play Console, because I kept confusing it with the Chaos Screen Recorder. After some back and forth in the command prompt I got there, and I also made a new version of the recorder because I was not sure I had already done one. That made two versions.
The policy violation
At 9:10 p.m., after eating a salad, I got ready to tackle the policy violation. The Chaos Screen Recorder had been in violation for a couple of weeks, and Claude AI had not been able to resolve it. I decided to try the instruction manual I had built for Polymatrix on the recorder.
It worked. The screen recorder addressed the policy failure, so now all of my apps were up to date.
What I expect next
One app is already in production, and my personal best tracker is close. Polymatrix and the Chaos Screen Recorder are both moving towards production, so within fourteen days I hope to have them live. My plan with most of my apps is to get them into production as quickly as possible and then keep updating them while they are live.
