Get Chaos Screen Recorder on Google Play
The test recording
I took a break to record video for Floor Is Lava with the screen recorder, and it was a fun little adventure. I started playing and ended up playing for about twenty minutes without noticing. I went through parachute mode, side mode and climber mode, took the video through different settings and had fun with the coins. Twenty minutes later I pressed the stop button.
What I learned from the video
I checked the result and the recorder did pretty well, but one feature confused me. It records safely in three minute intervals, or whatever interval you set, and splits the video into portions. I thought it would split the video and then join it back together. Instead you get separate portions, and you have to stitch them up in another video editor later.
It is a good idea, but now that I have seen what it does, I think the app should stitch the video back together automatically.
Feature Log: July 5, 2026
- Safe mode splits long recordings into segments (three minutes by default)
- Idea: join the segments back together automatically
Version progress today: version 9
