A Film on the Waterbed
Heading back now to last Saturday night, judging from my literature, I believe that Jett ended up coming around at 1:30 p.m., bringing with him a video and some extra games for me to get into. Almost instantly, I knew that I was going to miss out on heading to the Gym because Jett wanted to watch the movie “He Got Game’ first which would take me to the forefront of my decision.
Nevertheless, as Jett sat up on my waterbed and I on the floor, we hooked up the video and began watching what turned out to be a movie with too much additives to the story. The basic story was about a man getting out of prison to which he had to help his son sign up with a certain basketball team to which his sentence would be shortened.
From the onset, I knew whoever wrote the script wasn’t thinking in depth about the characters and tying up loose ends in the plot and I could see that with a main character called ‘Jesus’, why it didn’t make it big on the big screen. Apart from ending badly to which I was confused on what actually happened, it resolved as messed up as it began. “This movie’s taking forever” Jett remarked as he rolled over on my waterbed, obviously feeling the same affects that the movie was doing to me.
Meat Pies and Skirmish Plans
With the movie completed, I had mum bring down some food for the both of us to eat, meat pies just like the old times. Beginning upon the Playstation and enjoying our food, we began to talk about skirmish on Sunday, trying to arrange who we were going to get a lift with. Given some time, Jett was called by Min-Su on his mobile phone to which he hooked up the hands free kit which he plugs in a headphone and begins chatting away. Asking if he wanted to use my phone, Jett noted that he was receiving a free call for twenty minutes so he might as well have used it.
Within the time they were chatting away and I was playing ‘Driver’ he was making inroads to what could have been a rainy day for skirmish. Jett kept noting that he wasn’t going to head to skirmish if it was raining, advising Min-Su that he would pick her up from work on Saturday if that was the case. Later in the night we keenly tuned into the weather forecast and as it was all sun for Sunday he notified Min-Su on his bid to head out for a killer day of skirmish.
Mum and Dad at Home
Unsure on the time of day, I know that dad left for Queensland so that he could visit Eric again. Being gone for a couple of days, he didn’t get back until yesterday and today as I walked up the stairs to see what I could grab from the kitchen, he looked at me with a loving smile, as if Eric and Dad had a big moment, hugging each other and sopping up all their lost memories. Looking at me with caring eyes, I thought to ask about his weekend to which he noted it was superb, better than expected.
Therefore, with this small amount of information I can only assume that something did happen that I don’t know about to which dad would probably preach to me later. Besides that, on the other side of the fence, when I sat with mum in the television room tonight she told me that it was a better life when dad was gone. “For seven years we’ve been sleeping in separate beds” she noted in bearable admittance to her tolerance. Nevertheless, I know they love each other and they love to hate each other but both have exceeded their malevolence, figuring that it’s easier to not care than to care enough not to care.
Keith Chases Thirty Five Dollars
Later in the night, after Jett and I headed down to Bradbury shops to order Chinese Food, he received a phone call to which on his little screen Keith’s phone number and name popped up. Turning off the phone because he didn’t want to speak with Keith, we thought we’d seen the last of him, chatting about how Keith was hunting Jett down to obtain $35.
The reason that Keith wants $35 from Jett (If you don’t already know) is because Keith forfeited his deposit on skirmish and knowing he didn’t want to let good money go to waste, he sought the best alternative in calling his arch-rival, offering his position. However, how I told Jett, if Jett wanted to head to skirmish then he shouldn’t worry about paying Keith who shouldn’t have called up Jett in the first place chasing up money he would never get back.
Despite this little quandary and our bitching about Keith, our woes were soon realized when we heard the buffoon tapping on my front door. Bowing our heads to his lacking shame and holding plenty of persistency when it comes to money, I headed to the front door hoping he wouldn’t step inside my room. However, we were to have no such luck as Keith had journeyed to my house in search of Jett, and so it began.
Unable to get the hint that we didn’t want to speak with him when Jett hung up his phone, Keith’s persistency brought him to my house, hoping that he could possibly find Jett lounging around. Keith must have been desperate to get that $35 as he traveled to my house on an assumption that Jett would be there. Maybe Tamsen has decided to keep from paying Keith off in how she usually done in their former relationship.
Keith Settles In
Now Keith has to earn his keep as well as be watched by her at the job she got him, sort of a trade off for each other’s insecurities. Feeling as unwelcome as we had made Keith with our continuing as if he wasn’t there, he took a seat in the back of the room and watched us play the Playstation. In the back of my mind I was thinking “When’s he going to leave” and I figured Jett was pondering upon the same question.
In Keith’s stay, he noted that he probably wouldn’t be heading to skirmish because he was heading to cricket but you can be sure that if his plans fell through then he wouldn’t give a shit about Jett using his ticket in. Shortly speaking upon his week, he noted how on Thursday Teague decided to take a day off work. “Can you believe he didn’t go to work because he had diarrhea” he pledged, “You don’t take a day off because of that”.
Asking if I knew where Shawn or Ralf were for the night, he seemed dirty upon them when he noted that they most probably went to Carmen’s. However, why would they consider inviting Keith when he would only cause the night to slip all the more. After all, Ralf’s found his safe haven, a place that someone else finally likes. I figure that he’s going to wear it out like everyone does with Chevy’s until Shawn either gets tired of going there or they just can’t be bothered with such monotony.
Jett Goes Home
There was a damp smell of persistency sticking in the air and as we had whispered upon Jett’s departure when Keith was lingering at my front door, it was an actuality when Jett ended up leaving my house around 10:30 p.m. Jumping on his trusty mountain bike, he headed home in the chilly weather which looked to rain and for the next hour, Keith hung around like a bad smell.
With Keith finally deciding it was time for him to head home and leave behind his stink, I had myself a shower and then began upon these pages early on Sunday morning before I finally drifted off to sleep at 1:30 a.m. In truth, I decided to continue upon my Saturday morning entry because I didn’t want to start a new entry so late in my depiction. Therefore, there might be some points that sound out of place because of their recent ties. Think of these as the beginnings after the cause and you shouldn’t have much problem.
Imad Needs a Mouse Driver
Ceasing now with the conclusion of my Saturday, my night is almost to an end but before its collapse under the need for sleep, let me just note one more occurrence tonight. Seconds before the Footy Show was set to begin I received a phone call from Imad. Figuring that it would be something important when he asked “I need you to do me a huge favor” I was dreading the repercussions but was surprised at his minor request.
Imad’s mum gave Imad a computer and as he was setting up his 486 with a black and white printer, the only thing he needed was a mouse driver. Therefore, Imad wanted me to head over on Saturday with my Mouse Driver Disk to which I have just rummaged through my disks to find it. Within our informative conversation, Imad also noted the big fiasco of his being demoted at work resultant to his taking a day off to see Naqi in the loony bin.
“I’ve been good friends with my boss for one year” he argued as he added “I thought he was a good friend but here he is demoting me back to the cashier”. Fronting his strong will not to be back on the cashier, Imad decided to call it quits and as his usual attitude for retribution stands, he sought refuge in the petrol station across the street. “I applied to work in Liberty across the street telling them I had managerial skills in the petrol shop across the street” he explained in his devious way, “You know, competition”.
Knowing that his situation for money would now be scarce I proudly remarked, “If ever you need any money, I have one hundred and fifty dollars in my Credit Card, it’s yours”. Thanking my for my generosity Imad told me he would only call upon me in extreme dire circumstances but I exclaimed “Don’t wait that long, I’m here if you ever need my help”. Having to leave our conversation after a couple of minutes, Imad told me that a girl was heading over to his house to which I found out it was the new girl he met from work called Giselle.
Weekend Plans
That is about all the information I hold of last Saturday and tonight. I know this weekend won’t hold any favor for me when it comes to these memoirs as I’ll be super busy tomorrow and super extremely tied up on Saturday. Sunday holds the only sway from encumbrance but one day cannot defeat the lagging many behind it. Just to jot down the supposed plan for Friday here, let’s see to what effect it will take place.
Firstly, work as you know it will be the benefit of my many hours to which I am planning to spend at least an hour after work to see Calla off. Uncomfortable to a point of my being there and feeling as if I’d be an odd thumb uninvited, if Linh and the others do head down, I’ll stick there with them for the encompassing hour. When 6:30 p.m. arrives I’m heading back home in time for the Football game with Brisbane against Parramatta to which Shawn might come over.
From there, gathering we’ve already bought the tickets, Tyler, Nero, myself and with the probability of Shawn, we’ll be heading off to Chevy’s to cap the night off. With this fitting conclusion, I will start anew on Saturday, refreshed and hopeful to be waking up in the early morning around 9:30 a.m. With a hard day ahead of me, I’ll wish myself to the Gym and when coming back, Ill be off with Imad down to Campbelltown where I’ll get my contact lenses fitted, tested and bought.
Figuring this was a fair trade off, Imad saw no problem in walking down to Campbelltown with me, let’s see if it actually happens. If it doesn’t, Shawn and I can always take the van and venture down as he’ll have nothing to do. Taking my racer in the back, we’ll also head down to the bike shop so I can get a quote on many new things to come to me in the racing department.
Lyssa’s Birthday
Jett will most probably collect his Playstation on Saturday which will relieve me to these pages and there forth, there is a slight chance we’ll head out to the City or some other nightclub. However, I do seriously doubt that as I wish that to happen next week and as so, it will give me time upon the computer. Lyssa’s birthday is tomorrow to which she’ll be spending some time with her family at some dinner function and then she’ll either be heading to Chevy’s, Molly’s or some other club around the globe.
Lyssa is heading to that ‘Amazon’ place on Saturday with her fifteen female friends, where I with hope will try and complete the final stages of recumbently lingering chronology. The time is now 11:15 p.m. again and with my sights set on earlier than my usual late sleep, I will sleep anon and wake with hope these pages will greet me on Friday night…
