Too Many Late Nights

If there was ever an interesting text to begin with for this entry it wouldn’t be within my thoughts, so livid from odd hours of sleep. There also hasn’t been much done within the last two nights so once again, this will be a shorter entry than usual. You could say that my mind has been preoccupied with this latest collection of data regarding the length of my Diary and so far, it has been running smoothly.

However, because I get so attached working on my Diary the morning draws evermore longer for my efforts. Sunday night after writing in my Diary I didn’t get myself to sleep until 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The main reason for this prodigal habitude that keeps me from sleeping is due to my devotion to working on my Diary. There must be at least 6 hours placed into the structuring of data and probing into my Diary and I feel that tonight won’t be any different.

Poetry Gone Missing

As you would have already discerned, my poetry since the antecedent days of this month has been lacking. Blameful responsibility would be cast upon my shifting of focus to finding a job, this data I am compiling or my crumbling relationship with Lyssa.

Unlike last month where I had a total lapse of memory and I deemed myself with writer’s-block I have no such quandary this month but rather, I just don’t have the will to write. The ability and the mind set are within me but once it comes to writing in this Diary or thinking poetical thoughts I would rather work on data or watch television.

Lazy you might say but I consider this burden of neglectful thought has been passed down to me because of my sleeping habit. All those odd hours of the afternoon I get to sleep at and then those late nights I wake up only to do it all over again, it freezes my ability.

When beginning this Diary entry I wasn’t eager and I didn’t know what to write. I couldn’t be bothered and my mind wasn’t sending out any inspirational thoughts. These last two months have really had some major periodical ups and downs due to my mental stability and happiness. We are deeper into Autumn, deeper into the withering and if you were to think figuratively, I will die more in my mind’s will to live with the last month of dying.

Knocking Before Matrix

Enhancing the chronology with another day of capitulation let Monday be our source of comment. Like I have already noted, I went to sleep at 2:00 p.m. on Monday and the only time I was woken up was when there was a knock on my front door. Glancing out my window with glazed vision I noticed Keith’s car there.

Having slept nude as usual I jumped up and foraged for pants to put on in the darkened room. Mum was making her way down the stairs about this time but I had made it out of my room in time to answer the door before her.

Still looking half asleep I opened the door to Keith and Shawn as they asked me if I wanted to head out with them to watch ‘Matrix’. “Nah, I’ve just been sleeping and I’m too tired” I responded but as usual with Keith’s consistency he kept badgering me. Feeling the need to see ‘Matrix’ but still dreary I uttered “Come back in half an hour” and with that they both made their way back to the car.

Tatton Plays Dead

From what I was told, Keith and Shawn headed to Tatton’s house where they wanted to see if he would also come out. Tatton’s bedroom light was on when they arrived but seconds later it was turned off as they started walking up to his front door. Being allowed into his house they walked into his darkened room only to find him lying in his bed.

With the light being turned on Tatton acted as if he had been sleeping for hours but both Shawn and Keith had reason to believe that he had quickly jumped into bed when they arrived. The sanity behind this is arguable but we all feel that Tatton jumped into bed when he heard Keith’s car. As Tatton is the loner and loser in one tight package of flabby fat rolls he jumped in bed to avoid going out.

Despite Tatton being in bed Keith and Shawn walked in and asked him if he would like to come out. With his eyes half closed he shouted “I’m sleeping, I don’t want to come out” and being repulsed by his outward attack Shawn thought he would mock him a little. Keith made his way back to the car but Shawn kept himself there asking him any question that popped into his mind. This of course pissed Tatton off but it made Shawn all the more pleased for even considering to bring out a beached whale.

Tatton really amazes me by how wrong he is to civilization. If you were to name everything right about a person you would find that every one of those good traits contradicts what Tatton is…

Back-Seat Jester

Deep sleep was a little hard to come by after Keith and Shawn left but I did rest for a further half an hour to surpass my tired state. When I finally got out of bed at 8:30 p.m. I had myself something to eat and then I started getting dressed to head out for a night at the cinemas.

While waiting for the both of them to arrive I watched the start of ‘Ally Mcbeal’ and hearing the car out the front just before 9:00 p.m. I made my exeunt. Straddling myself up in the back seat I began listening to a conversation they were already in the middle of.

To me the upcoming cricket matches aren’t that interesting but leg spins and bowling was the heated topic of their conversation. Keith thought that he could bowl around 130 Km/h and he thought that most of the people in his indoor cricket side could bowl just as fast as the professionals.

Causing a bit of noise in the background as I usually do I started being the back-seat jester. Letting out a big stretch every couple of minutes with my arms and feet yawning in all directions and my back arching, my tired state had my body contorting in all angles.

On top of that I started swearing what I knew in Lebanese continuously and under my breathe. What made it more enjoyable was how Shawn started swearing in Yugoslavian from what I had taught him previously. Keith didn’t get my attention of picking on him as I usually do, rather I left him alone for a night.

Binh and the Cinema Complex

Before we made our way to the movies Keith drove to Binh’s house so we could also pick him up. Waiting out the front for a minute or so as he came out of his next door neighbors house we let him in the back seat and then took off. The next stop was undoubtedly the cinema complex at Macarthur Square where the four of us would try and sneak in. Parking the car near the side entrance we jumped out and viewed the inside of the cinemas.

There were two ticket collectors just standing around near doors and as they looked over at our little group I knew what was going through their minds. Sneaking into a movie was going to be a bit formidable against such staunch workers, our job would be made hard.

The Girl in the Wooly Skirt

Making our way up to ‘Fun n Games’ where the three of them played the Star Wars Pinball Machine I just stood around watching the game from a distance and watching what distance did permit of passing women.

There was one lady up at the cinema complex who was with a couple that looked pretty hot to me. She had that French look, black hair and a wooly skirt and little wooly jacket. She wasn’t extremely hot (Maybe she would have been much more delectable with blonde hair but that’s my chauvinist shade speaking) but her legs were full and long and I was attracted to the quietude of her nature.

She looked like the quiet type, one who would be stunningly beautiful when you approached her and I thought that if I started speaking to her she would flourish her mindful beauty with a foreign tongue, one as beautiful as French. This group sat two rows in front of us but I was naïve to the fact that they were seated in front of us until we were actually leaving. When we left they also jumped into their car which was in the same car-park and when we left I glanced at her until there could be no more…

Spitting Through the Crack

Sneaking into the movies wasn’t proving to be a problem but with those two ticket collectors standing around we couldn’t just walk into a movie without them seeing us. Thus, checking what times certain movies were playing we made our way back out to the car and just stood around talking for a little while.

At one stage Shawn and Keith put their heads against the outside wall of the cinema where there was a continual crack across the ground where you could see the lower level car-park. Both of them tried to aim their spit through the whole which I must admit was funny to look at from a distance but soon after Binh and I had our own little go. Now I never spit when I’m out but for this occasion I thought to bring out my salivary deposits.

Up the Side Stairs

Mounting suspense was growing on what we should do and seeing that the ticket collectors were still in view from the outside doors we all agreed to make our way to the front of the cinema complex. From there we could walk up the side stairs and straight into cinema one or two which was isolated to most of their viewing. After some quick checking to see if they were standing out the front of the doors from downstairs we urged our way up the stairs.

Hustling up the stairs I was the first to walk into cinema one where ‘Matrix’ was playing and Shawn wasn’t too long to follow after me. The both of us quickly ran up the stairs to find ourselves a seat with the movie having not even started. Unaware at the time, we sat behind the girl that I was speaking of just before, a girl that I would find interesting to go out with. Keith was later to walk up the stairs and sit on opposite ends of where we sat but Binh didn’t show any signs of making his way up. Thinking that he had chickened out Keith made his way down minutes later to bring him up so he could watch the movie.

My Verdict on Matrix

‘Matrix’ was a fairly good movie with great special effects and I’ve been wanting to see it for a little while now but I don’t rate it superfluously. Rather, ‘Matrix’ was a good movie where you have to understand the concept of the future sci-fi to get a grip of the story-line but I didn’t like the ending and it took a little while before we got to see most of the action sequences.

I like a movie that has plenty of action if it is supposed to be such a movie and lately the movies I have seen haven’t delivered. However, the all time greatest movie that has pleased me in the last couple of months has of course been ‘Waterboy’, it had all the facets of a great movie flick.

Compiling Data Until Morning

With the movie finishing at 11:00 p.m. we made our way out of the cinemas having to pass one of the ticket collectors. Deciding not to look him in the eye I knew he would be looking at our little group and thinking to himself “Idiots, they snuck in again”. Making our way to the car I said one last goodbye with my glance to that fairly attractive girl and then it was off to dropping everyone off home.

When I did arrive home I thought to have a little rest by watching television before beginning on my Diary or any other work. However, last night I didn’t write in my Diary because I had that sense of unwanted obligation running through my veins. Thinking to myself “Maybe if I preoccupy myself with another item of interest for half an hour I’ll feel the will to write in my Diary” I began on my compilation of data regarding my diary entries.

For the whole night and into the early hours of the morning I sat there working on my computer with breaks for eating and occasionally watching the television. For half of that night I had CD’s playing in the background as I found music to keep me going despite my heavy will to proceed. For five hours I listened to music as I computed data on my computer and when it reached 8:00 a.m. I finally decided to call it quits. Thus, turning off the computer and laying myself to some much needed sleep I closed my eyes and drifted off.
