Back on the Towel

After ten minutes of the both of us chatting and floating over waves and through them I informed her that I was headed back to the beach and saying goodbye to her she made her way back to her friends. Once back upon the beach I had a bit of a hard time finding Ralf and the towels but once I did I sat down and realized where the girl was sitting.

She was sitting that couple of steps behind us and I did see her coming back to her spot with her cousin holding both her and her friend around the shoulders for fun. I thought not to walk up to her and start talking to her in her little crowd and rather, I just kept myself firmly on my towel. Wrong was I to advise Ralf that I was just talking to a Macedonian chick in the water and then signaling with my eyes the direction she was at.

Ralf turned for an age to the direction I aimed at with my eyes and all I could do was just hope she wasn’t paying attention to him. For the rest of the time on our towels I only looked back twice and the second time was when they were leaving. As they left Ralf and I also decided to pack up and head off, the time was 5:30 p.m.

The Last Glimpse

Making our way up towards the cars and with me behind a girl that looked like Sienna (light blue shorts and tight light blue top, heaps hot) I got the chance to see Delphine jumping into her car as we walked past. She didn’t notice me or she tried not to but then again I tried avoiding eye sight with her. On our way to the car I noticed that she also made her way to the ice cream van and bought herself some ice cream.

Taking one last good look at her awesome body I dawdled my way to the car. When the ice cream truck came past my way I ordered myself an ice cream and noticed Delphine heading off in her car, she didn’t notice me. That was the last I got to see of her but what do you know, maybe I’ll see her at Byblos one day.

Birthday Party in Moorebank

For the trip back home I was pretty content with the days events and relaxed for the rest of them. That is until Ralf informed me that he had to call his mum for some reason, I started getting worried we had to stop somewhere.

As he talked to his mum I found out that his cousins were having a birthday party and his mum was bidding him to come along. “If I do I’ll have to take Tony home first” Ralf said but through some more conversation it was found that Ralf was headed straight to Moorebank for the get together. He informed me that we would only be there for a couple of minutes.

Arriving in Moorebank I was wondering where abouts the newly found Delphine lived, my Macedonian beauty. Jumping out of the car I wasn’t really worried about entering a strange house, I had an open mind. Stepping into the house I noticed the big table first that housed around ten guests and Ralf’s parents around the house. Chatting to his mum about our day at the beach Ralf didn’t really associate with any of them and in truth, none of them are even related to him, he’s adopted.

While there I sat down for most of the time to watch television and it was in this time that I realized the Super Bowl was on Wednesday morning, I was spewing. There was a little dude that Ralf was chatting to that was 15 years old and looked much younger but he had himself a job at some factory doing shit like squeezing the plastic bubbles to make them pop. He was receiving $100 a fortnight but what was upsetting was that his mum was getting $50 a week, that’s the whole of his pay.

Later I found out that she was a single parent that didn’t have a job and with him money she was just getting by so I guess I can’t blame her. There were two birthdays, one for a 15 year old kid and one for the 40 year old mother who took $50 a week off her 15 year old boy. Having a piece of pavlova, some orange juice and then some ice cream cake Ralf didn’t want to hang around too much longer and then we headed home, half an hour later.

A Sad Story on the Drive

On the way home I asked Ralf about the thirteen year old girl and the mum who took all her kids money. Ralf informed me that the 13 year old girl who he also has a picture of at home had some disease called CT. Now I’m not sure if it’s called CT but it’s an illness that makes some of your bodily organs not function properly. For example, they can’t eat certain types of foods and they can’t drink alcohol because it will just fuck them up inside and they aren’t expected to live over 18 years of age.

It’s a pretty fucked disease and it’s a shame because the 13 year old girl looks like she has potential in the beauty category, she could have been something. Also on the way home we kept saying “What are we doing ‘Nothing’, when are we doing it ‘Now’” as if we were protestors. We usually say that now when we are just driving around doing nothing, it serves its purpose.

Ralf Stays Over

Back at home Ralf decide to come in for a while and I sort of gathered that would happen since there would be no one at home. Ralf kept bitching about his cousins and how they hated his guts three years ago and treated him like an outcast but now things are heaps different. That bitching soon stopped when we got to my house.

Walking in my door my parents informed me that Imad and Lyssa had called me but I tried to keep it under wraps because Ralf was over. The time was around 7:30 p.m. when we arrived at my house and as we started chatting and hoping that Ralf would go home soon so I could get to my computer and ring Lyssa I turned on my computer.
