Keyboard Trouble Again

The second day of the year and still I haven’t completed the chapter of the first. Yet as time is never on my side I must draw my attention to this moment to speak kind words of my new years eve celebrations before I have to run off somewhere else. Before I do that let me tell you about another problem on my keyboard now.

Before the space bar used to play up but these days the fault is in the letter ‘N’. No matter how hard I press it sometimes it just doesn’t type and watching the screen it pisses me off over time. I’m subject to stress continually because of it and I can’t get the keyboard open to fix it. Well, until I buy a new keyboard I guess I’ll have to put up with it.

Midnight at the Wharf

Well, I’m still on Thursday night but it’s just about to end. As far as I can remember I was just explaining the Macedonian girls and as the time came to 11:30 p.m. we all said goodbye to each other. When this was done I made my way down the street and finding an alleyway to the wharf I made my way down there. Within a couple of minutes I made my way to the wharf at the rocks near the exhibition center.

There I waited by myself but with hundreds of people around me that wanted to see the same thing, midnight fireworks. Ten minutes passed quickly and when midnight arrived to our expectant thoughts the fireworks went off. Everyone started cheering including me and finally the year was over, such a long one at that. The fireworks lasted for fifteen minutes and all was over when the last huge bang of fireworks transpired.

Dancing Alone at the Orient

Everyone started walking in one direction again so I followed the crowd for a while walking up another alleyway and then breaking off to head into the Orient. This time around the line wasn’t such a big push and making my way up to the third floor with a drink I bought from downstairs I headed to the dance floor. Sipping my orange juice I finished it off while eyeing the dance floor. There were some girls there and it was fairly crowded for such a small place so that gave me some confidence to dance.

In my mind I was just thinking to myself that if I started dancing with a girl then everything would be fine. Onto the dance floor I walked circling around the edges where people were just standing. In all this time I was eyeing some girls on the dance floor and making my way into the middle I danced behind them but at a distance. Keeping to myself for the whole time I don’t think I got noticed as being in there alone but two guys in there did notice me as I bumped into them and said happy new year.

Minutes into my dancing I started sweating pretty generously as the air was hard to breathe and it was hot. A bunch of girls walked onto the dance floor and as one of them reminded me of one of Lyssa’s friends with the big lips and lots of white teeth inside I thought to dance near her. This girl looked smashed as she was dancing in the middle of the circle that her friends had made for her.

She might have been carrying some alcohol at one time but I could be wrong. There weren’t much ladies out on the dance floor but she must have been one of the better ones so I tried dancing up behind her. That did eventuate but as I danced behind their circle I danced behind most of her friends, some that turned to dance facing me. For the next half an hour or more I spent in there trying to dance with the girls but they pretty much kept to themselves.

Sneaking Past the Gates

Heading back downstairs I bought myself another orange juice and mingled with a couple of people before heading out the door and back outside to the large gathering of people. While walking outside in a mass of people that were doing the same thing I got a pinch on the ass and looking back to see who it was I didn’t find a culprit but a couple of good looking girls that could have done it.

Making my way past Jackson’s on George I walked up the stairs and noticing that a ticket cost $30 I quickly made my way back downstairs. Having nothing else to do in the City and already having had a great time I made my way to the train station. Instead of jumping on at Circular Quay I walked all the way to Town Hall greeting a couple of stragglers and wishing them a happy new year, the usual.

Once at Town Hall I had to sneak past the ticket collectors at the gate once more and with a flurry of people once again walking through I done the same without having to show my ticket. The time was 2:00 a.m. when I finally made my way to the Campbelltown platform via East Hills. Walking the length of the platform I was looking for a great place to sit on the train where I would be entertained by some good looking ladies.

Chalk, Trains and a Polite Stranger

Near the end of the platform I noticed there was sort of like a block war happening. It seemed like some members of a gang or just some idiots were throwing pieces of chalk and other projectiles at the people on our platform and some were throwing them back. At one stage I thought a couple of them were going to make their way over but that never happened.

A train showed up that masked the idiots from throwing any more shit and I decided to sit on the chairs facing them. When the train left once again there wasn’t any more throwing except from this one white idiot that threw chalk at my chair missing me by a meter or so. That pissed me off but that’s the only time he threw chalk and some minutes later another train came to conceal us from each other.

Making my way back down to the start of the platform I leant against a pole near a couple of girls that I was attracted to. The only problem was that they had some guys with them but I wasn’t looking in their direction anyway. This guy and his girlfriend sat right next to me on the other side of the pole and then very cautiously and with yielding words he asked “I don’t want to start any trouble mate, do you know if this train stops at Riverwood.”

He was very cautious in his approach and later in our conversation he told me how I looked like a muscular boy. He came from Ingleburn himself and being around 34 years old he had been to Olympus Gym at one stage. The two of us chatted as he introduced his girlfriend until the next train to East Hills came. As he jumped on he bid me to jump on with him but I wanted to wait for a train that went straight through.

The Long Way Home

When I finally did jump on the train after four or five trains the time was 2:30 a.m. As I sat down near the middle of the carriage the hot girls also came upstairs but alas, I wasn’t facing them. Some stops later two young schoolboy lebs jumped on the train with what I knew later to be their sisters and cousins, three girls. One of the leb girls was probably 14 years old but she was wearing a short denim skirt.

The eldest there being around my age and with curly black hair that had some sort of oil through it was the best looking one. She sort of reminding me of Saha or Salima (One of them two, the better looking one). The trip home was supposed to run through East Hills but we ended up going through Canterbury and then through Chester Hill to finally make it down Liverpool and back to Campbelltown. This didn’t really piss me off because it was the newest day of the year and I was out looking at hot girls.

A Carriage of Show Offs

When the train approached Canterbury some more lebs around my age or a bit younger jumped on. They knew the two other lebs that were on the train which were good Samaritan lebs. One of the lebs who looked as if to be in control had dreaded hair with a high undercut and looking at his hairstyle I knew that I would want to try that out later in life.

There was also this little young fat leb that talked with his hands and acted as if he was the man. You know the type that ask to borrow something of your and you think in your head “He’s probably going to run off with it” and then they do just to look cool. Well, this little dude was the classic example of a wannabe who would probably run away if a fight eventuated.

There were also two other guys with them but they preferred to look cool by playing with their matching mobile phones. In fact, all of them had mobile phones and one would tend to think that they were in the business of shabby phone deals and stealing phones. The leb with the dreads was trying to chat up the good looking leb girl but she was playing hard to get and hiding behind her other two friends. She wasn’t interested in his conversation that much but she did listen.

This girl hadn’t noticed me or looked in my direction for most of the time on the train but we did get eye contact once while the guy was talking to her. After that I caught her looking at me in the reflection of the window and I looked at her directly a couple of times. Some more lebs showed up on the train once again knowing all of them but being older. They jumped off soon and then a couple of stations later the rest of the lebs jumped off.

Walking the Carriages

Having no one else to look at that was interesting I made my way to another carriage. Walking through each carriage looking for some girls to sit next to I bumped into a Lebanese guy from Campbelltown that I know and as I wished him a happy new year I kept walking. Later when I was in Campbelltown I noticed him once again. Jumping out of the train and back in to get past the middle part of the train I was greeted by two girls on the other side who were both blonde but a tad older than me.

Nevertheless, they were talkative towards me asking where we were and about the night in general. Looking at one of the girl’s friends had chucked up bits of blue on the ground as I was informed he had been drinking something like Sambucca. That probably would have explained the blue spew but it didn’t explain the little square pieces on the ground which I later found out to be fragments of hot chips.

The girls and I talked for a couple of minutes about the night and then wishing them a happy new year I made my way upstairs. There were four girls upstairs who were half decent and one of them looked at me and then to her friends as if to say ‘You should look down there’. However, the rest of the trip home wasn’t without conversation as there wasn’t much people surrounding me.
