Thank Goodness for Daily Calls
If it wasn’t for Lyssa and I making the time to call each other every day despite us not going out with each other anymore but nevertheless maintaining our friendship, I don’t know where I would be. If Lyssa and I weren’t having conversations every day then my day would be bleak. As no one else really calls me regularly I’d just be waking up late and sitting in my room all day bored and bothered. Praise Lyssa for having the time to call me and thank God we have still remained friends to this day.
While I am speaking these words let me also remind myself that Lyssa and I have changed towards each other. Back in the day when Lyssa and I had just broken up and started seeing each other again it was all a game of charades. We both knew what we wanted to do and how we wanted to act but for some reason that was blanketed by our anxiety around each other.
These days that blanket has disappeared and for that reason Lyssa and I act once again like partners but without the responsibility of obligations. There was a stage where we had to act like we shouldn’t touch each other and we shouldn’t really but we are more ‘Hands On’ these days.
Too Many Showers a Day
Well, this is the first day I’ve been able to relax in the new year and after such a long time loathing the computer screen and typing in this Diary I have come to a night where that is no more. Tonight I am not stressed but perhaps that is to the fact that I have been relaxing for the whole day after Lyssa left and this mood is still with me.
Nevertheless, I have to type somewhat with more accuracy and slower than what I am used to because I have to watch the letter ‘N’ as it doesn’t type properly. Just one more thought in mind before I get down to business. I don’t know how much showers I usually have a day but it seems frequent. Back a couple of years while I was still at school I used to shower maybe once every second or third day, yep me the nerd.
When I was out of school and heading to the Gym I used to have a shower once a day if I was lucky. Showers became frequent but brushing my teeth wasn’t until recently, halfway through last year it was frequent. Nowadays that I’ve been going back to the Gym I remember how sweaty I get. One workout at the Gym will consist of a proper towel, not dripping but drenched in sweat.
Lyssa used to say that I sweat so much that I even sweat when I eat and that was true most of the times. I’m not sure what it is that makes me sweat so much but I usually have two or three showers a day just to feel cleansed. Today I’ve had three showers but I’ve also been outside tanning. Maybe in the future I’ll be having a shower periodically or whenever I can but lets hope not.
Mirrors and Gym Progress
Speaking of showers I might as well add that little article of information. Happiness comes to me at times when I feel good about my body and that only comes with the pleasing that my eyes do see. To me, looking at myself in the mirror is a form of judging my happiness about how I look. Fear not though, I don’t constantly look at myself in the mirror but when I do I look so I can view my results in the Gym and contemplate my content.
I very rarely look at myself in the mirrors at the Gym. Rather, there are only two main mirrors in which I form an opinion of myself. That of my room mirror where I look upon myself coming back from the Gym and then the bathroom mirror where I get a better tan because of the hot water. So don’t think naïve of me, just think upon my working progress…
Lyssa Arrives With Gossip
Now to speak of last night and Lyssa coming over. Saturday night it was and after Lyssa gave me a call informing me that she was getting a taxi to my house with her mum’s money I prepared my room and tidied up a bit. Lyssa was bringing over ‘Ferris Beuler’s Day Off’ because she taped it the night before when she was at the movies watching ‘Ever After’. When Lyssa arrived I was watching television but walking to the door I noticed her new top that she was wearing.
Lyssa pointed out before coming to my house that she was going to wear her new blue top that she bought a day or two ago and she also informed me she was wearing her comfortable G-String. These little garments called G-Strings are all that Lyssa seems to wear these days. Lyssa did look radiant and good looking with her hair tied back nicely and a smooth appearance to her face and clothing.
Holding the front door open for Lyssa we gave each other a kiss on the cheek when she walked in. Walking to my room Lyssa sat on my bed to take her high heel shoes off as I planted myself on the ground. Conversation soon started and in it Lyssa told me more gossip about new years eve. All that was new to her story was that there were fireworks set off independently at Wollongong and Lyssa stayed out there until 3:30 a.m. getting home at that time.
“You know I don’t like Pedro any more than I did before, he’s sleazy.” Lyssa explained. That came after I asked how much people came over to her house and soon I learnt that Pedro was asking Lyssa if she had massage oil so she could rub it on his back. Everyone knows what he was trying to do and even though he asked a couple of times in the day he got the same answer every time. Kieran was probably sitting there twiddling his fingers hoping that Kieran wouldn’t get his chance as it would upset him.
Shushing Lyssa in the Yard
Not even ten minutes were we at my house when Lyssa asked if I would walk outside with her to have a smoke. Not being bothered to start a feud I jumped up as we headed to the backyard. Lighting up and starting to speak of the full moon my mum started singing as if she was loony upstairs. She didn’t stop her hollering and it pissed me off and stressed me so much that I asked Lyssa to follow me to the front yard.
Knowing that my mum and dad were upstairs watching television I didn’t want Lyssa to speak too loudly as I know them both to be spies and I don’t like when they poke their head out. When Lyssa started walking down the driveway and talking normal I started getting more stressed and hoped that my parents wouldn’t look out the window. Signaling to Lyssa to keep it down she asked me why inquisitively and in the same blatant tone.
Myself, I was trying to hide under the comfort of the balcony but soon after I walked to where Lyssa was to see if my parents were looking and in a bid to relieve some stress I asked Lyssa to come to the backyard with me. I’m sure Lyssa wasn’t trying to be a bitch when she kept herself out the front to finish her smoke, rather it didn’t occur to her why I wanted to head out to the backyard again. I always get stressed when Lyssa and I walk outside to have a smoke because she enjoys her conversation and she doesn’t know the meaning of ‘Quiet Conversation’.
A Compliment Out the Front
While outside Lyssa said to me “You know when you say you have seen good looking chicks when you go out.” Nodding my head Lyssa then asked “Would you consider me one of those girls if I was walking down the street.” Without even having to consider it I told Lyssa that she was one of the better ones walking down the street and if I didn’t know Lyssa and she did walk past me I would be tempted to stop and talk to her because she would be so attractive to me.
On top of that I was looking directly at Lyssa’s cleavage when I answered her question so obviously I’m still very attracted by how she looks. Lyssa let out an “Awww” in appreciation and without faltering she hugged me in her cute way. That must have made Lyssa’s day and with that bit of information out of the way we headed back inside.
Modelling the New Clothes
Once inside Lyssa asked me to try on the new nightclub clothing as she’d forgotten what it had looked like on me. Starting with the shirt I asked Lyssa to close her eyes when I got to taking off my pants. When I was doing that Lyssa opened her eyes and stopping playfully before I had taken anything off I asked Lyssa to close her eyes once again. Lyssa opened her eyes now and again but she never really did get a glimpse until I started doing up my zipper, the cool part.
When that was done and with my hair also looking good out Lyssa asked me to try on my new shoes with that. So outside I walked to get the shoes and walking back inside I talked with Lyssa while I put them on. When all was done Lyssa gave me the thumbs up approval and almost immediately I took them back off. Once again I asked Lyssa to close her eyes and once again she was being cheeky but I managed to get the pants off without my parts being seen.
