Chasing Thoughts Like Cockroaches
This being the last day of the month and the year will probably be the last time that I speak freely within my Diary. It is here in this time that I will reminisce upon past thoughts but once again I have not finished my thoughts of chronology. Just like my bathroom where two insects roamed freely not too long ago, both being cockroaches.
One was caught already in an empty toilet roll and all I had to do was chuck him into the toilet bowl and flush him. Another cockroach I did spot seconds later and after trying hard to capture his fast furry feet I had no luck. He still wanders like the thoughts in my mind and the other cockroach shall be the thoughts already captured and flushed out of my mind into these pages that does empty toilet rolls to write upon. Now let us speak of chronology, such a newly sought word of this year.
A Lift From Tyler
Before I speak of what was left last entry let me just elaborate on the happenings of the last couple of hours after the Gym today. On my walk back home I noticed Tyler driving past and beeping at me he slowed down. Greeting him it didn’t take me much to figure he was just at my house and as I jumped in his car he offered me a lift back home.
On the way back Tyler told me he was over just before to see if he could borrow the most recent video we made at Waves so he could get it copied. While at my house he commented on my speakers and finding the tape I handed it to him. “Give it back to me some time next year” I told him as we shook hands and he left back for his car.
Milk Run Under The Moon
Later in the night I knew I had to make a trip to Bradbury shops to buy some milk for my protein supplement which has been working so well. Dressing myself I walked out the door and probably for the first time in the year and the last time in the year I looked up at the sky to see the glory of life. The clouds were amongst the sky and as I looked up at the wonderment of such I thought of what a year it has been and then the mystery I was witness to.
The mystery of how the moon was shining in the day. The mystery of the clouds spanning the sky that seemed to swallow the moon as they did walk past its way. They did conceal the moon and make me think the sky was with such illusion. These thoughts did transcend into poetic thoughts but alas I have nothing yet to show for it.
Phone Calls Into Midnight
At the shops I did buy the milk needed and coming back home I did have my protein shake. Lyssa was supposed to be back from a day shopping in the City but when I called her at 8:30 p.m. only her mum answered informing me she had not come home. Later in the night when it was 10:00 p.m. I called Lyssa back only to find she was finally home.
Lyssa met up with Penelope in the City because she is working until tomorrow. Lyssa done her shopping where she bought herself four tops and some presents for her brother and dad. Lyssa and I talked for fifteen minutes as she got angry at me for eating her Fried Rice that we bought on Tuesday, more on that later. Apologetic for the trauma I had caused to someone that craved Chinese Food I ironically had some food cooling and I had to eat it.
Lyssa let me go and I gave her a call a couple of minutes later where we just talked about what I wasn’t doing for the new year and her new year resolutions. Our second call lasted ten or so minutes of conversation. Lyssa wanted to get some sleep as the time was nearing 11:00 p.m. so I let her get to sleep. As I started typing in my Diary I also started watching ‘The Big Picture’ of the year past and in this I noticed how much bad happenings outweighed good.
For this reason Lyssa gave me a call as the time reached midnight and she informed me how sad she was of the happenings in the year. We talked for a couple of minutes and then it was time for Lyssa to get to sleep. Before she did we made plans for me to head to Lyssa’s house tomorrow for a dip in the pool or something. This will be great as it will be the last time I see Lyssa in the old year, on the last day of the last month and year of 1998.
Phones Before Noon
Back to my chronology now starting at Tuesday morning, just after Lyssa and I got to sleep after a strenuous sexually charged night. Lyssa received a phone call early in the morning, well early to us. The time was 11:00 a.m. and as I beckoned Lyssa to jump up and answer it she told me she would just let it ring.
That she did and I counted off the number of rings being fifteen. A minute later the phone started ringing again and Lyssa got angry and stormed out of the bedroom to answer it. From what I could hear I knew it was Penelope on the phone and she was at work in the City.
Lyssa talked with her for a couple of minutes and after trotting back into the bedroom she informed me of the conversation. Penelope wanted to know if Lyssa would visit the City for the day but seeming I was at Lyssa’s house she informed Penelope that she couldn’t for that reason. It made me feel good that Lyssa didn’t hide me from Penelope like she used to.
Getting back to sleep the harmlessness of our serenity was soon ruined by another phone call ringing intently to Lyssa’s ear. Bothered, Lyssa stormed once again out of the bedroom and this was now my time to jump out of bed also. This time it was found that Kiley was on the phone and once Lyssa was off the phone she informed me that Kiley might be coming over later in the day.
Lyssa asked me if I could go with her to the City for the day so she could get some shopping done but I once again warned Lyssa that I had to get to the Gym for my workout. Lyssa still wanted me over for the night so she wouldn’t be sleeping alone and I was fine with that.
Poolside Under Protest
After making plans for when I should leave we pushed aside our problems as Lyssa wanted to jump in the pool. Being too burnt by the sun myself and having had Lyssa apply Vitamin E (Which was a moisturizer) on me twice the night before I was more wary of the sun. Lyssa wanted me to jump in the water but I didn’t feel like jumping into the cold water despite the balmy weather.
Splashing some sunscreen on my shoulders and part of my back I felt I needed it. Walking into the sun my skin felt like it was scorching which usually happens when you have a sunburn. Sitting myself in the shade near the pool Lyssa kept begging me to jump in the water with her and if it wasn’t for Lyssa’s persistency and her animated adorable nature trying to get away from a dragon fly I mightn’t have been so lenient.
Wasp Panic In The Pool
Easing into the lifeless water with Lyssa we swam around contently with each other. Carrying Lyssa on my shoulders as she held on for dear life I ran around the pool as she yelled out exciting chords while mounted upon me. For fun I tried gripping onto Lyssa asking her to take me around the pool and she tried once but it was funny as we approached the deeper part in the middle.
Our fun in the pool ended abruptly when Lyssa realized there was a wasp circling her and in her cute way she pulled a worried face. Then, with a face of clumsy determination she dived into the water with the adorable thought that she couldn’t be touched by the wasp only coming up briefly for air. Upon reaching me and thinking she lost the wasp she jumped out of the water bidding me to do the same.
As if in a constant curtsy, Lyssa made her way to the house clutching her towel that was dragging behind her heels. Myself, with the wasp now long gone and the opposite of me making fun of Lyssa I strolled back to the house to greet a phased Lyssa.
Penrith Panthers Gossip
Once out of the pool Penelope gave Lyssa another call from work. Obviously bored or angry that she was working so close to the new year she just wanted some companionship. I didn’t hear any of the actual conversation apart from Lyssa’s side but I did hear the gossip when Lyssa was finished. From what I was informed on January 9th which is Ali’s Birthday Ali is inviting a whole group of people to Penrith Panthers. Penelope rented a room for all the guests and that was her birthday present to Ali.
Before they head to Penrith Panthers they are all heading to some sort of picnic for Ali and then they will enjoy the benefits of dancing. Even though Lyssa isn’t paying she insisted to Penelope that she sleep in a bed.
To Lyssa’s liking, all the girls should sleep in a bed and all the guys should get the couch. Even though Imad was going Lyssa said to Kiley in their conversation that none of the guys were attractive and she was repulsed to think of sleeping in the same bed as one of them. Lyssa also asked me about my birthday and she continually asks me about my birthday as if she is planning to buy me a present or something of the liking.
