Today I have no real opening to this piece of literature so let me just try and start on the day I left behind, Friday. There is once again plenty of action that has happened in that space of time and that leads me to say that October, already halfway through the month is shaping out to be one of the better months. Still I’m waiting for that kick that leads to the downfall in the latter part of this month but so far I’ve only had one or two uninspiring days this month, that’s good shit. Today I wouldn’t mind traveling to Ingleburn Pizza Hut to check if Marley’s there. Lately I’ve been thinking that my pick up technique is pretty shit and outdated and yesterday I had some more practice, some good, some bad but all in all it was a good experience. The more I stick myself out the more experience I get, that’s the only way to achieve so if I see Marley today I might just talk to her.
Well since my last entry I waited a little while and around 4:00 p.m. I headed for the Gym. While there I had a mad workout that consisted of the usual body-parts but like I noted last workout, I worked mainly on dumbbells for Chest. Right now my Chest is killing along with my forearms. Just before I write my routine down let me just note that I was just called by Shawn who is driving around with Ralf and Tessa in his car. Ralf boasted that he was traveling to Wollongong to help Imad who was broken down but I knew it was a load of shit. Instead they were just driving around Minto and Ingleburn eating Pizza and talking on Tessa’s mobile phone. Asking if Marley was working at Pizza Hut I was told she wasn’t so it’s not worth me going out for a drive to Ingleburn. Right, here’s my routine for Friday…
Chest: After my two minute bike ride warm-up I decided to play it safe and had myself four warm up sets. A bit much you might think but for what came after unexpectedly, I was prepared. The first set was with 40 pounds on Peck deck for 15 reps and then I moved to pullovers with 35 pounds for 15 reps. From there I moved to assisted dips with a fair bit of weight for 15 reps, once again a warm-up. The last warm-up was on Incline Dumbbell Press with 25 pound dumbbells for 15 reps.
Serious sets now took place and for the first time I set the Bench Press with 150 pounds. Stretching strenuously I asked for a spot and with this guys great help (Or rather no help until the last rep) I managed 8 reps, the last one assisted. That was great news for me and shockingly he decided to spot me again, with the same weight. This time I managed 6 reps by myself with one assist from him. Next I stepped towards Incline Dumbbell Press and managed 7 reps with 50 pounders. Next I stepped to Peck Deck and with 110 pounds performed 12 reps. Hard as that was I moved to Seated Machine Press, my first set was with 140 pounds and 6 reps. That was very strenuous and for the next set I exhausted myself with 120 pounds and 8 reps. Moving to Dumbbell Decline Press with 50 pounds I performed 9 reps. My last set for Chest was Pullovers with 60 pounds and performing nine reps I was forced to drop the weight for fatigue.
Biceps: My aim was now to pump my biceps and that I did achieve in a big way. Starting with a warm-up on Standing Cable Curls with 30 pounds I curled 15 reps. Another warm-up with Preacher Curls and 20 pounds I performed 15 more reps. Now I tried a new high weight on Alternate Dumbbell Curls and with 35 pound Dumbbells I performed 8 reps per arm. Next I made my way back to Standing Cable Curls for an extravagant set declining in weight. Starting with a monstrous 60 pounds I performed 6 reps then putting the weight down to 40 pounds, another 4 reps, 30 pounds another 6 exhausting reps, then finish. My last set was on Cable Preacher Curls and with 35 pounds I performed 10 laborious reps.
Back: By this time I was fatigued and I make it a point to begin my slowing down progress on the third body-part. The first two body-parts have full energy towards them and then the third lacks energy. However, the last muscle part worked out which is always abdominals receives a lot of stress because it can take it. Anyway, I started on Wide Grip Pulldowns and performed 12 reps with 30 pounds for a warm-up. Placing the weight to 60 pounds I performed 2 sets of 10 reps. One set of Seated Cable Rows with 80 pounds and 10 reps was almost the end for me but I decided to add one more set. The last set was done after a set of abs but it was One Arm Dumbbell Rows with 55 pounds for 10 reps.
Abdominals: My first set on Machine Ab Crunches was with 30 pounds and I performed 30 reps. There was also a set done on Seated Machine Leg Press with 200 pounds and I performed 30 reps. Seeing my machine was busy I performed 15 reps on Cable Crunches with 50 pounds and then my last set was with 50 pounds on Machine Ab Crunches where I just performed 30 reps.
Coming home from the Gym I just walked out of the entrance to Olympus Gym when I noticed Imad. Imad also noticed me as he stopped and walking up to his car I had a talk to him. Imad was offering me a lift home so I jumped in the car even though I wanted to visit the shops. Driving just up the street we noticed a police car coming down the other way and going up towards my street Imad was pulled over. In our heads we were thinking “Nah, he’s not going to pull us over here in residential Bradbury” but he did, lights and all. Imad was surprised and worried as he stepped out of the car and talked to the officer. For at least twenty minutes we were held up and I told Imad that if I walked I would have been there quicker. The officer was nice and didn’t even try to defect Imad’s scrapped out car. He did give Imad a notice to attend court as he was driving without a license. When all was done Imad dropped me off at my house and told me he would come over later that night but didn’t end up sticking to his word.
Taking my sweat filled towel into the bathroom I had a relatively large meal made for me upon arrival. Mum made a bowl of mashed potatoes and along with a meat pie I was set. Just after workouts I like to fill myself up to replenish my lost carbohydrates, that’s my number one rule. Not eating good after a workout is like sinning just after getting out of one of them priest penitence boxes.
From the time I arrived home and finished my food Min-Su gave me a call at my house and this is the first call I received about the night I wasn’t told about. Min-Su wanted to know what was going on for the night. From what she heard, Tatton, Shawn and I were going to the City, what to do she didn’t know. Answering with the fact that Tatton wanted to visit ‘Sublime’ nightclub Min-Su told me that she didn’t want to visit ‘Sublime’ but she would go to the City. Asking her to call Tatton to find out the gossip I gave Jett a call. Jett was actually the first one to have called me for the day. While I was eating Jett asked if I had seen Min-Su and then if I knew she was going to the City. Later on it turned out that Jett knew exactly where Min-Su was going and he knew that Tatton invited her to the City but not Jett. To my intrigued mind that was a bad move for Tatton to do. Would Imad ever invite Lyssa to the pub without me if I was going out with her, would I ever invite Penelope out, well never anymore anyway, so there’s my point. Jett now wanted to go out and it was through me that he got that chance because it seemed that Min-Su didn’t want to speak to Jett by getting me to call him and Jett didn’t want to speak with Min-Su. If you ask me, Jett was just trying to play it safe by coming along and being an infiltrator, not a spy. Asking that I call him back with some news of the night I got back to my food.
