Plans Fall Apart

How planning turns to dismay where with the failure of halfhearted attempts brings dissipation and hopelessness to a once high-strung night. I have to start learning that my smallest expectations cannot be met these days with my lacking of sticking charisma and the halfhearted nature of my friends. In brief, Jett did come over with Min-Su to watch the Football game where in a quencher we beat the Bulldogs on the wire 14-12.

Having a chat to Imad for the night, he was going to drop by on his way home but he had no heed for my plans. Dressed in my best, I gave Tyler a call continuously for the night and when I finally reached him at 10:00 p.m. I found that he didn’t want to trek out to Chevy’s, he just wanted to rest for the night.

That pissed me off because I was eager to go out but considering I had just gulped down some Chinese and then some Vienetta ice-cream, I wasn’t too dirty about the response. The only wealth that I gained from the night was the knowledge that I wouldn’t have to give away a limb for all the chronology that would have swamped me within that night at Chevy’s. In a way I am thankful and in another, dirty for the fact that my night was ruined by other’s decisions.

Nevertheless, now I come to you so early in the morning, methinks with two hours upon these pages before I have to head off down to Campbelltown. Now my thoughts and daydreams upon my working day are vitally important but moreso, they would have touched these pages more had I written them at the moment. Man, I can’t wait to buy that laptop computer from Binh and build my enterprise of the Mad Chaos from there.

Two Strange Dreams

Anyway, before I begin on last Friday’s adventures, I might as well note two dreams I had last night, where one is credulous and the other auspiciously just a dream. The first dream came to my knowledge just as I was about to wake up at 7:45 a.m. All I remember was that we were at my house watching television and apart from Tyler there was some other friend of mine sitting around.

In my mind, all I can remember is that I wanted Tyler to come down to Campbelltown with me to help me choose contact lenses but despite him looking like he was soaking up time, I left it all up to his conscience. Nevertheless, soon after he slipped off to what is now my brother’s old bedroom to sleep and seeing the time was now 6:00 p.m. with no chance of shopping, I headed infuriated to the bedroom.

While he slept I started slapping him across the face, kicking him in the ass and basically kicking the shit out of him for being such a dog. Tyler didn’t wake up and as he kept his eyes closed he only swung around his hands tiredly as if he was trying to get rid of a mosquito as if in a dream. From what I remember, I was hitting upon him real hard but Tyler was just sitting there taking it, just saying “Fuck off dick head”.

The second and earlier dream was one that I don’t want to expand upon in these pages as I’m glad it was only a dream. Not sure of the full extent, I remember I was at some people’s house and they had a kid who was, let’s say, curious. Anyway, I’m only going to spell it out for you with the words ‘Gay’, ‘A touch of oral’ and ‘very grieved’.

Nero’s New Car

Heading back now to my Friday night last, I’m up to the part where I’ve arrived home, watched the Football and have now heard a knock on my door. Knowing that it would be Tyler, I let him in as I finished dressing myself up and asking him “Do you think I should leave the glasses on or off” he looked at me with an inspired smile and suggested “Leave the glasses on, you look like a sick cunt”. Despite the antagonism of the dead sun and the weary moon, I kept with the fashion of the moment and decided to take along the glasses as a good investment.

Asking in suggestion if I should take along the yellow lens glasses for the both of them, Tyler thought it wouldn’t be needed which at the end of the night wasn’t what Nero thought. “I’ll meet you out in the car” Tyler exclaimed as he made his exit out the front door to which I splashed on some perfume, chucked on my shoes and headed out into an awaiting night. Heading to Nero’s new car and having seen it for the first time, I noted its being white and the sticker on the side saying ‘Purple Pleasure’.

Nero and Ace have it going on with taste, style and fashion. It might have been a white car apart from the purple mags but it was the purple pleasure because it had someone like Nero driving it. With the dark night, I couldn’t really see who was in the car and not being able to see Tyler or Nero standing outside, I figured that they were sitting in the car. Walking around it to take a look around I peered through the window only to see that there was no one there.

When trying to open the car door I looked down the street and there at the corner was Tyler yelling out “Come on, let’s go”. Thinking this as some prank I played along saying “Do you both want to walk down to Chevy’s” to which Nero sat silently smiling for most of the time but eventually the gag was over and we all jumped in his car. The time was 11:30 p.m. and greeting with handshakes, the night was only young.

Cruising Queen Street

Our first destination on this night upon history was to take the new wheels for a spin down Queen Street. Our whole intention for the night was to head to Chevy’s but in the back of my mind, I knew we would confront some trouble getting in when I called Tyler up at 11:00 p.m. but he wanted some more time to wind down from smoking pot.

If you don’t know already, Tyler was at Nero’s house before our day begun to which the both of them were smoking pot and if we’d have left at 11:00 p.m. we might have stood a chance of getting into Chevy’s but, no such luck. Doing an honors-lap of the newly rebuilt Queen Street, still with most of the tarpon up and building spots fenced off, we were looking for a parking spot as close to the action as possible.

Driving past Chevy’s we noticed for the first time the hottest chicks with the hottest clothes ever to grace the face of Chevy’s. The reason for this blooming beauty was because Chevy’s were selling their tickets at music stores like Central Station, obviously attracting all gorgeous chicks from different parts. When having done our lap Nero had seen a spot at the bottom of the QSB Street on the same side.

Right near one of those plastic barriers, in front of a parked car and just outside of the legitimate parking area, Nero noted “I’m going to park here” which was pretty game considering the tight squeeze and small amount of space. Nevertheless, with his small car, we didn’t find it too much of a squeeze and as we turned off the car, we were revved up for an intense night at Chevy’s to which we were overly satisfied with the turnout of awe inspiring women out the front.

Keys Locked Inside

The first turn of the night and boon to these pages of memory came in all the anticipation of heading down to Chevy’s. Needing to lock my wallet in the glove compartment and because it was a new car, we needed Nero’s car keys to lock it up. Tyler also threw his wallet inside and now my only question was whether to take the Black Fly glasses with me or not. Asking for another opinion, they were both well supportive of my wearing them so assorting some more items in Nero’s car, I grabbed them in my hand and locked the door.

In jest, Nero remarked “I hope you didn’t lock the keys in the car” to which I stood up in confused disbelief. “Wait a minute, I thought you had the keys” I exclaimed waiting anxiously upon a relieving answer. “No, I gave them to you to lock the glove compartment” he noted and as I slapped my head for being so lost in my own little world of anticipation and short skirts, he peered into the window and spotted the keys. So close but yet so far, our night was just the same and this was just the beginning.

Frustrated with myself for making such a damning error, Nero didn’t look discredited at all and if he did, he hid the signs very well. Deciding not to get frustrated with the problem, he was optimistic of the night as was I apart from my self-degradation. Upset with myself, I kept repeating, “I can’t believe I done that” noting that if it ever came down to NRMA opening the car door, I would pay for the costly bill. “No you won’t” he uttered, “Don’t be silly, we’ll figure something out”.

Nero didn’t even have a spare set of keys at his house because he had only recently bought the car so we were definitely up shit creek. However, we didn’t let that little flaw to our night discourage us as we all had the same thoughts in our mind. “let’s worry about this later tonight” Nero remarked as we began our promising stroll to the front of Chevy’s, gazing upon beauty with a smile.
