A New Month Begins

A new month, a new problem, a new vibe, a new situation and always a new experience. Tonight not much time begets to express my day’s worth but it shall be given a hardy go. In addition, I haven’t the brain power or expanse of thought to conjure up another ten syllable name for this month but since I haven’t worn my necklace on the last day of last month and the first day of this month (with more days to come), it seems there should be a fateful tie regarded.

Should there be a reason that my fate charm was broken off during football on Sunday, and what forces were behind the almost impossible find from Anders who spotted it in the hectares of long grass in which we were playing on. I know that this being a new era in my life, it can only be a constant progression. To keep with past metaphors, it would be like a tidal wave, building as it nears the shores until one day that huge wave will wipe out and crush the shores it falls on. Whether that is a good omen or bad is not yet known but we shall get on with the chronology.

Late For The Train

Beginning with Monday morning, I just have to note that I had myself a great sleep. Getting to bed at 10:00 p.m. because I was tired from my having been energetic for the day, I slept without even moving from my one slumbering position the whole night. However, I was woken up by mum at 6:30 a.m. in the morning, in which she told me I was late for work.

Jumping up in a daze but tuned into the event, I hopped calmly out of bed noticing that my alarm clock had the notch holding back the alarm so it wouldn’t ring. I forgot to release it. Minutes later Lyssa called asking me to accompany her on the train at 7:15 a.m., so I agreed and got myself quickly ready in twenty minutes. There wasn’t much time for error or mucking around as I didn’t have a shower, had something quick to eat and then made my way quickly out the door to the bus stop.

The bus was on time as usual and for my Monday I decided to wear my new suit top; well it’s the newest one in my possession, one year old but never worn out. This kept me warm for the bus trip to Campbelltown and waiting for the next train, I jumped in the first carriage hoping that Lyssa wouldn’t be late again. Lucky I didn’t decide to sit downstairs because Lyssa was standing outside at the doors and as soon as she had seen me she beckoned for me to jump off because she hadn’t bought her weekly yet.

In no hurry, I decided to jump off and just before the train departed, offered Lyssa to jump on the train where I would lend her my ticket to get through, following behind her myself, but she didn’t want that. Succumbing to her pleas, I jumped off, she bought her ticket and we then stood standing a further ten minutes waiting for the train to arrive.

Lyssa And The Television

Lyssa looked fairly attractive in her polo neck jumper and hugging pants which showed the full contour of her butt which is a smooth descent. Lyssa had a cleaner face than her usual scruffy look when heading to the city but I didn’t care either way. Actually, not much sexual thoughts or thoughts of getting back with her spiraled distractively through my mind as we sat next to each other.

Lyssa really isn’t my friend either because we don’t treat each other properly in that circumstance, but we are in a class of our own, in an ex-relationship trying to be associates. What made me a bit in disservice is how Lyssa told me she hadn’t tried to hook up the television yet, despite having a whole night. Her excuse was that she had to go to lunch with her mum and then she had a little congestive complaint about how I woke her up early in the morning and made her late for the train.

Lyssa is unskilled and oblivious in her naïve way when it comes to most things. In this case, Lyssa didn’t bother trying to plug in her television basically because she didn’t receive instruction from me and she didn’t want to exert any effort into thought herself. Lyssa was afraid of what to do and telling her that she simply had to plug in the power chord and press a couple of buttons on the remote control had her rethink brevity.

Missed Lunch Call

I think Monday was also the morning that Lyssa tried laying hints about Ralf and her having been called by him on the phone for the past few days but I can’t be sure. Anyway, at St. James Lyssa asked me to walk her to her work and despite having only fifteen minutes to get to work myself, it seemed no great measure walking her to the front and then headed to my office.

Talking of lunch, I told her to expect my call just before 1:00 p.m. but of course, Lyssa didn’t really care about what I said because it involved too much thought and memory power. I called two minutes before the due time and Lyssa had already left and as it turns out, she bought food from the Centrepoint shops and then sat in Hyde Park with one of her work friends to eat her lunch and then head back.

Monday At The Office

Work on a Monday was exceptional and I might think myself weird but I really liked being at work, even though it was Monday. Opening the morning mail and doing a brief in the morning, I had to cope for most of the day with Fitzroy because Thalia was learning other duties as Secretary. When lunch arrived I tried calling Lyssa but after two minutes I found out she had already left so it was lunch by myself again. She hasn’t been very punctual with dates and planning these past few months, and basically through our whole time together.

When she’s not being confused and oblivious to plans in which she has to repeat her queries, Lyssa has the tendency to just brush someone or some plan off. Lyssa treats me like a second class friend now and right now it makes me feel even less relevant. I guess I know now how Lyssa must have felt through all those times calling Jewell, when her loving plights were falling on deaf ears, but now Lyssa is the oblivious and deaf one and she doesn’t seem to care about anything that involves me, that is unless it has to do with spite.

Sushi Under The Fig Tree

Having lunch at my normal Hyde Park location under the fig tree, I brought along some Sushi for the occasion but this time I had a fork. Eating away didn’t take me too long as I headed down to Macdonald’s and bought myself a drink for the way back to work. Once there we had only half a day to go in which I done another brief, helped Fitzroy out with some duties and then done the out-going mail near the end of the day.

The last half an hour was dedicated to filing in which it is turning out to be the dreaded duty but someone has to do it and in this case, it’s me. When the work day was over the four of us left around the same time and there was no harsh running away from me like in day two where they teamed up their antagonist antics against me. Nope, this time around it was all friendship, all smiles and all team spirit.

The day as usual was over at 5:00 p.m. and heading to the train station, I caught the next available train back home and that was that. Last night after getting back from work I did start writing in my diary for the whole of my waking hours, including those moments more dedicated to eating, and then got to sleep around 10:30 p.m., and I think it is now time to speak of the current day.
