Work Keeps Me Happy

Same time, same bat channel, same epical chronology, just a different day. It a new day and a new sense of sensibility as the foreboding for my shadowed two-year anniversary with Lyssa has passed. There was no remembrance apart from what words were brought up and vague as they seemed, both of us were carefree, not getting caught up in the moment at all. Apart from that, today was a good day at work despite the constant workload me and Najla received.

Through the day we were constantly approached with different tasks to add onto the tasks that we already had to achieve. In addition, because Najla is still sufficiently learning I took on the more formidable tasks and all the other errands we were approached with. Despite my hard day at work I still conceive it to be virtually stress free as I am peaceable with my surroundings and the work I accomplish. I love having something to do all the time and working in a group to where I can satisfy everyone’s needs that asks me to run a task.

I feel more confident and sublime when I am given more work to do because that way people have confidence in my forsythe. Again, I am glad to be working and without work, I would probably be drained of hope by now. Nevertheless, the upside would have been the fifteen or so Sonnets I would have written until this day where with work, I have substituted quantity with quality. Nope, I still had quality in my quantity but now I can only have seldom thrusts at poetry with this mind.

How Keith Got Me Into Cricket

Advancing to some idle chat of philosophical length, let me begin with some trivial knowledge. Last night the final for the cricket game was playing and I’m not sure what time it finished but I got partially interested in watching. Six months ago you wouldn’t have caught me watching one ball bowled in cricket because I thought it was the most boring game apart from golf but now I can show some interest. I still think it’s a monotonous game but it is worthwhile to watch, especially when Australia kicked their rival’s ass to win the tournament.

Keith actually was given a flexi-day by his boss who wanted to see his daughter off who was heading overseas for six months. This is the girl that Keith keeps noting is a hot stunner and as he saw her a couple of nights ago he backed up his story, a beautiful seventeen year old blonde. If I was to place blame on someone for getting me interested in cricket it would probably be Keith, first and foremost.

He used to come over my house eons ago to watch cricket against my will and then we played cricket on the Playstation, only for a short while. There would be times when I would hear the hype about the game and watch one or two overs and I would always be surprised that someone would be getting bowled out. Therefore, I gathered that it wasn’t so slow paced and monotonous and that’s why I watched the semi-final cricket game and got interested in the finals.

Weight Loss And Fidgeting

Some more trivial knowledge for your ass, the cockroach in the bathroom since last has not been spotted. I think it has been two weeks now since I last saw a cockroach and I figure because it looked aged and dying that it was on its death bed. Good news on top of good news, my computer hasn’t crashed for a couple of months now which means I don’t have to stress about losing hordes of information.

More importantly now, I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned that I now weight a gallant 78 Kilos and probably still on a sliding scale. To be honest, I can understand how I’m losing weight due to my eating less of a day and other factors of contribution. For example, something I would probably never have thought of writing in my diary, I sweat slightly during my sleeping process.

This is due to my waterbed being warm and despite it being winter I am placid to the extremities of sedated calm. Also, I hear that a good fidgeting person tends to keep weight-loss more constant and there’s no one that fidgets more than I do. There is not one minute that goes by where I don’t squirm in some way or another.

When I sit down I have to constantly fidget so that I can get comfortable and even when I sleep I feel that I am moving now and again. Since I don’t wear underwear, it probably gives way to my fidgeting when seated but I’ve always thought that if I wore a male G-String then I wouldn’t need to fidget as much because the G-String will be doing the job of separation for me. Add to my fidgeting the fact that I do it on a larger scale at the Gym and you can understand how I am losing weight.

Mirror Photo Shoot

In addition to my losing weight, I can honestly say that I am proud of my body. Not to the point where I will love myself and show it off on every occasion but I am content with my appearance and that is the reason I thought to take a picture of myself as I was taking my work clothes off today. It happened when I looked into the mirror to take my tie off and then my shirt buttons and as I was undoing my cuffs I noticed that my body looked admirable.

As any male would do, I flexed in front of the mirror to gain confidence in my appearance and then as I thought “I never get pictures of myself when I look great, like in model shots” and because of that thought I decided to take the camera out. My last photo by myself where I set the camera on a timer was with my last set of film and it was a mistaken shot. This time around I actually took out my full sized mirror, placed it where my door would be and then the camera in front of it on a little desk.

Setting up the shot so that I could see myself in the right angle to the camera I put on the timer and then prepared myself. Having one minute I set the shot up perfectly, put my new gray tie on my leg and then didn’t really pose but acted like I was halfway through getting undressed from my work clothes. Just as the last few seconds were beeping I looked towards the camera and kept a hard-looking, slightly surprised face. One picture was enough for my new work outfit.

Flipping A Coin For Shawn

Let me now begin with my chronology starting with my Sunday morning. Waking up around 10:30 a.m. after a comfortable sleep I had myself a shower and not too long after I received a call from Keith. To make word’s haste, I agreed to his proposal and then at midday Keith drove over and picked me up. From my house we headed to Shawn’s house as I heard he also wanted to watch ‘Austin Powers’ and from there we headed up to Macarthur Square.

Parking his car we headed into the cinema complex and as Keith and I bought our tickets Shawn headed for ‘Fun n Games’. Shawn didn’t want to pay for a ticket to see ‘Austin Powers’ so the both of us decided that we were going to sneak Shawn in. However, the only problem was that neither of us wanted to walk out with the extra stub so as we headed to Cinema one we stopped just inside the doors and pulled out a coin.

“Alright, pick heads or tails” Keith appealed and picking heads it came out to be tails. Confused on who was supposed to go out and get Shawn we decided to flip again and this time I was certain that the winner of the coin toss would chose their fate. The second time around I won the coin toss to Keith’s discontent as he uttered “Damn, I shouldn’t be going out, I won the first toss but okay, I’ll go”.

As he forsook the rest of the way up the stairs he asked me to find three seats and then he was as quickly downstairs to find Shawn. Within a couple of minutes sitting there by myself Keith and Shawn came back up the stairs and minutes later the movie began…

Laughing At The Movie

The lead up to ‘Austin Powers’ was a big one as we watched part of the first movie and all the little skits in commercials. The movie was just as great as the skits but I feel that my having watched them that in getting accustomed to them I didn’t laugh as much. I was rather sitting there waiting for the bits that I knew to come on and then I wouldn’t laugh that much.

Nevertheless, the morning crowd despite being a big one wasn’t laughing too generously either and that also brought down my enjoyment. All in all, I thought ‘Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me’ to be a great movie where it done good to try and surpass the original but the original to me was still the best by a nose. The part about ‘Jerry Springer’ at the start was just hilarious and hearing the bad guy keep saying ‘toss me a fricken bone’ was jaw tiring to the laughter it produced.

What made the movie more enjoyable was that there was an attractive blonde when Keith was tossing a coin at the doors. I had seen her standing in line in which I stood behind her but as usual, I didn’t say anything. I came close to saying something as they walked past but it would have been too forced and put on so I decided to stay tight lipped.
