A Night of Thinking
It is a new day, it is a new world. Just in this little space that I have before my prime time entertainment begins and before my having a shower I shall recite my day and the era of new events. First, beginning with last night’s sleep, I didn’t get to sleep until 11:00 p.m. and even then my night was tortured by deprivation. There was plenty in my mind last night, which didn’t permit me a steady sleep as thoughts of Lyssa and our conversation above other things spiraled through my mind.
Work didn’t play any part of my not getting to sleep last night because I was never nervous weeks before, the night before and I didn’t have the early mornings regrets, jitters or anxiety two stations away from Wynyard. Not even when I was at work did I show anxiety and without nerves I was a cool, calm and collected individual. However, last night, I thought of the topics that Lyssa and I talked of, pondered on how it would be great if I could fall back in love with Lyssa again but then more quandaries puzzled my mind.
I figured that going back out with Lyssa would never be the same as going out with someone anew. Long and hard did I think about our possibilities last night and I knew that we would just end up being our same contrasting selves when it came to falling in love again. Nevertheless, I knew there was a slight chance that true love could be found between the both of us again but when I thought that I could find love in someone new and feel all the more excitement, it sounded a better alternative to playing the field twice.
However, I did think upon one touchy subject that after a while I thought that I could only effectively do with the mistress of the lost years. I imagined in my mind that my girlfriend was yelling at me (In her mild way) about some problem and caring more for love than argument I held my hands out, walked towards her and placed her head between my hands and my chest, so that she could hear my heart beat.
“Shhh” I beg, “Let’s not argue” and with that, I feel all the more better. This situation like noted I could not do with Lyssa and as much as it is an ambition for this kind of love, I can think of only one that can fulfill the satisfaction in my mind for such arguments.
Tossing and Turning
Anyway, for the whole night I must have swapped from bed to floor at least a dozen times and visiting the toilet was occasional but only to release some of my obvious frustration. The closest I came to sleeping was ten minutes of feeling knocked out but my stiffening neck and the alarm clock ticking loudly brought me back to reality.
Then there was the rain gushing outside that made me ponder more on whether it would be raining in the morning, that kept me awake also. Turning on the heater I tried to relax myself by having it blow on my back but that only worked for as long as my back was warm and the constant reminder that I had to turn it off also kept me awake.
Finally, 5:45 a.m. arrived and the alarm bell rang, another thing, which kept me up. You see, my dad wound it up all the way and I knew I would have to be quick smart to turn it off before it killed my ears. When the alarm did ring I was practically awake anyway and the irony of me finally relieving the stress of waking up on time made me a little sleepy. However, I was springy and ready to head into battle, no second thoughts about getting back to sleep.
Getting Ready
The first thing I decided to do in my morning was to have myself a shower before eating as I hadn’t brushed my teeth properly the night before. Lathering my body with the body-wash I felt energized and calmed. Having myself a banana to eat with some yogurt as I wish to do every day now in the mornings I also had myself two pieces of egg on toast. Eating them in my room I prepared myself with my outfit and at the last minute decided to chuck on the easy fitting blue tie with my lighter blue shirt.
Knowing that I had to meet with Lyssa on the 7:15 a.m. train I headed down to the bus stop at 6:40 p.m. and had to wait fifteen minutes before my next bus actually arrived, now I know. Hoping that my concession card would be allowed to be used I was granted cheaper fare which helps me out a great deal. Jumping on the bus there was a great deal of faces and so much people that I had to find myself a seat next to some guy.
The Blonde at the Station
When finally at the train station I had five minutes to wait for the train to arrive and when it did I jumped in the first carriage like Lyssa told me to. While jumping onto the train I noticed the most gorgeous (I’m not joking, she’s the one) female I have ever seen in my life. Being my height, without stockings on, she had the most perfectly defined and slightly tanned legs. Her hair was blonde, to her shoulder blades and she looked irresistibly gorgeous in the way that it was wet, I loved it.
Her face, oh man, how can you describe something that the heavens themselves wish they had to brighten their days. Being slightly tanned, she had the most incredible eyes, lips, cheeks, mouth and bone structure, she was just immaculate. But man, the legs, although without too much tone had just enough curve, muscle tone and color to make any man quiver and think they had died and gone to heaven. When I was jumping on the train I noticed her standing in line at the second carriage and I kicked myself when I knew I had to make my way quickly to the first carriage.
Nevertheless, it was a sign of fate that she too made the trek to my carriage to jump on it and head downstairs. When she jumped on the train she looked me straight in the eye, which either said that she liked me, she knew me somehow or she thought I was a killer. I’d like to think that because I believe I’ve seen her somewhere before (come on, she lives in Campbelltown for crying out loud) she might have been thinking the same thing.
Taking a seat near the doors the blonde walked downstairs and it was the last I would see of her for a little while. Let me tell you, her skirt was just unbelievable and although it didn’t stand out too much the pattern on it just stood out like a 3D image. Anyway, I jumped up when we neared Leumeah Station and peeped out the window to see if Lyssa was anywhere but she was nowhere to be seen.
Watching Her Across the Train
As the train stopped she didn’t jump on and I felt a little cheated and lonely but gratified that I could go look for the blonde now. Heading downstairs I had to wait for a little while but finally took a seat right near the front, two seats back. From here I could see the blonde sitting up the top part, facing away from me and talking to some guy with a pen in her hand.
I thought that he’d tried to get her number and she was writing it down for him but after a while I figured out they knew each other and she was just drawing with her pen. For the whole trip to the city I did have my eyes on her until a bunch of people jumped on halfway there and blocked my view. However, in this time I did get to check out another good looking blonde with great light pink flair pants made of polyester and large boobs even through her polo neck sweater. She looked down on occasion but there was nothing special in her glances.
Finally we made our way into the inner part of the city and seeing that the immensely hot chick (That reminded me of a mixing of Saskia and that blonde girl that I think looks like Lyssa) wasn’t straying from her seat I was glad to be jumping up. Cruising around the city circle I finally jumped up to get off at Wynyard in which the guy wasn’t sitting next to her anymore, he jumped off a station before me.
However, there were three other girls sitting up there so I didn’t stand much of a chance at talking or looking at her without the intimidation factor. Therefore, when making my way up the stairs I only looked at her once when she couldn’t see me and then against my torturous will, I didn’t look at her but from the windowpane reflection. In this I could see that she was glancing at me on occasion and at one stage, she looked at me through the reflection.
Even through the windowpane she looked stunning and I just couldn’t believe how beautiful she was in her facial features. Jumping off at Wynyard I had no chance to look back as I kept walking towards the stairs but I knew, she jumped off at Town Hall and thus, she worked in the midst of the city like me. Hopefully, tomorrow when I catch the train she will be on there and our eyes will meet again. Perhaps Lyssa might even be able to recall who she is because I think it might be someone that Lyssa knows…
Cash Before Work
Being 8:30 a.m. I had fifteen minutes before starting work so I headed through Wynyard and to George Street to try and find my bank. After a little scurrying walk I found the Auto-bank tellers and withdrew $160 from my account in which I was lucky it was there. I hope that I can hand in my next form to get a bit of extra money coming in but I believe that I will receive a notice to see Mission Employment before then.
For that reason I probably won’t be able to scam a tad more money for my clothes buying pleasures but I’ll certainly try and hold them off until then. With the money in hand I paced myself to the front of the FAI building and then fixing myself up a little bit I made it to the elevators and headed up to my new job on level 2.
