Quiet Phone Calls With Lyssa
Upon coming home after my workout on Wednesday I had my food to eat. About then my mum told me that Jett came over just as I left for the Gym. Obviously he didn’t bother to look for me at the Gym but it doesn’t matter because he came over tonight. Around 7:00 p.m. (Which was pretty much the first available time after eating and coming back from the Gym) I gave Lyssa a call at home.
Lyssa informed me that she would call me after getting back home from work but I soon realized why she didn’t. Looming over Lyssa’s house was Kieran and that was the reason Lyssa couldn’t call me back in a hurry. Lyssa informed me that she would call me back soon so I waited ten minutes as she came through with her phone call.
Lyssa and I were pretty much silent in our conversation, a trademark that was beginning to bother me in the last few phone calls. Starting the ball rolling I told Lyssa that I was getting bigger from my workouts and that my tan was also getting much better. The only problem was that my face had started peeling and boy, you should see it now. My nose has lost a layer of skin and the rest of my face looks like I’ve had a slight case of rolling my cheeks and forehead through gravel at running speed.
Lyssa complained about how tired she was and for that she didn’t feel like going to work for Thursday. Recalling that Lyssa started working near the start of the year we talked about how she’s finishing in two months and then moving on to work on Accounts. How that does contrast Lyssa and I. For this whole year she has kept a job and for this whole year I have been without a job. When Lyssa finishes working I will probably find a job but let’s hope she doesn’t stop working while I do.
Our conversation lasted for half an hour and I told Lyssa that I was staying up to supposedly watch the rest of the meteor shower. Saying goodnight to her I started up my computer and began playing games for most of the night.
Cards All Night
Nearing 12:30 a.m. early Thursday morning I received a call from Simon wanting to know if he could come over with Shawn and Tatton. Working on my Diary I told them to come over anyway. Turning off my computer we sat around my house playing cards all night. Mostly we played ‘Black Bitch’ which is similar to the second game we played ‘Thirteen’. At first in ‘Black Bitch’ I was always neutral but after a couple of times in dunce I became the President which means you receive the two best cars that the dunce has and you give him your two non productive cards.
In other words rich stay rich and poor stay poor in this game. Shawn and I also involved ourselves in a game of guess the card that we flip over. Shawn won most of the times, it was a heaps funny game. The fact that we were both guessing cards as they were flipped over was funny.
Learner Plates After Midnight
Needing not to spend the whole night at my house and having had my mum come down the stairs already to warn us about noise we headed for the cars. The time was around 3:00 a.m. and as Tatton was driving his car with L plates on Simon asked if I wanted to drive his car. Somewhat tired in the eyes he preferred to get some rest so taking an L plate from Tatton I stuck one on Simon’s car.
Simon’s clutch although new was a bit all over the place and the same was with his response of the accelerator. You would push it in half way but you would receive no revs. Anyway, we drove to Campbelltown, done an MSP and then we drove to Rosemeadow where Shawn and Simon tried the old St. Imad Keycard trick that Ali and I pulled off. As Tatton was reversing from his parking spot on our way out he came centimeters from hitting a huge column where the shops were.
If it wasn’t for Shawn screaming into Tatton’s ear to stop he would have collided. Meanwhile I thought I would stall in reverse but my confidence allowed me to come out smoothly. Now I’m thinking of going for my license in someone’s car like Tatton and just letting it run into the blacks in one year.
Hours Old Hot Chips
Our last destination of the night was at Subway in Ingleburn. There we sat as everyone ate and Tatton shouted me some hot chips which I had to send back because they were hours old and tasted like plastic. The second load wasn’t any better as the guy forgot them on the stove and they came out all hard and crisp. After our meal and some conversation we headed back home where Simon got himself some sleep and I drove confidently behind Tatton for most of the way. Driving to Tatton’s house I done a U Turn so we could pick up Shawn and from there we dropped him off at home.
Dropping myself off at home I said goodbye to Simon and headed inside. The time was 4:30 a.m. when I entered my house and I’m not sure what I did but I can be sure that I was on my Diary. The time I actually closed my eyes for sleep was at 7:00 a.m. Thursday morning, pretty late. Like I noted before, 4:00 p.m. has been the latest that I’ve woken up this month and probably last month too.
Midnight and Loose Ends
Wow, I’ve finally finished my epic tale, and with 15 minutes until midnight too. If I don’t go out tonight (Which I doubt I will) I will get myself a good sleep to hand in my form tomorrow to Centrelink. Let’s hope I don’t do what I had forgotten last month and not hand in my form. Just giving Tatton a call on his mobile phone Phoenix answered and with a kind word put me onto Shawn. The three of them were on their way back home from somewhere as Tatton was driving (Probably to impress Phoenix).
They told me that nothing was happening involving them getting their ends wet and they also told me that after they dropped off Phoenix they were probably heading home. Giving Simon a call just after that he told me different. Simon was just with them and he heard that Tatton wanted to head to St. Andrews lookout to get onto Phoenix and also let Shawn have his go, ‘Finger Cuffs’. Simon was out looking for Tatton and Shawn so they could do something and I told him to come pick me up if anything eventuated.
Keith was driving around with Simon on delivery runs just before I called and that made me realize once again that it’s been a while since he’s come over on a visit. That’s due to the fact that Keith’s busy at work but I gather that he’ll be out with us this weekend.
A Flat Line Month
This month wasn’t really one of good expectations but bafflement to what will happen. The very start of this month started on an up note but I seem to have the feeling that it’s been all flat-line since then. Nothing much has happened to give me an up effect and if it did happen the downers of this month would quickly quash any happiness. Flat-Line is the best way to explain this month and lately it has been starting to tread downhill, thus the end of the month.
Some of those things are the fact that I’ve lost interest in Marley at Pizza Hut due to the fact that she’s becoming more and more of a Pizza Slut everyday. The last trip that I made to Pizza Hut with Keith was the time that I noted “I don’t like Marley anymore, she doesn’t do anything for me”. Then there is the case of long lost Marley also from Ingleburn that I called at the start of this month but she hasn’t kept her word in wanting to give me a call.
It’s been more than a week now and Marley still hasn’t given me that call she promised. The thought of expanding once again into a larger version of the TBC has caved in now due to Marley not calling me back. Not hanging out with Keith as much could be considered a good thing but it’s also brought a silence in my nights out. I’m not sure if I’ve missed any nights going out with my friends but tonight seems like I will probably spend my time alone at home.
It feels like I’ve stopped going out as much apart from the visit to ‘Waves’ this weekend past. On top of all that I’ve been having more arguments with Lyssa and most of that hostility is due to Ali being in Lyssa’s life. It does me no favors to argue with Lyssa but it also does me no favors to have her mingling with my enemy.
Scared of Getting a Job
Three minutes now to midnight and I have not much more to write but little scraps of ideas from days ago. One was the fact that I thought I was afraid to get myself another job on the basis that the life that I know now will change. No more will I be able to train at the Gym with intensity and you can forget ten pages a night in my Diary.
Once I get a job prosperity in my Diary will be cut short and you will see an average of three pages a night, if even that. Before the clock turns to midnight I will hie (If that means ‘Go’) and leave my Diary of thoughts for another day.

Diary Of A Mad Chaos is a daily diary written from March 1996 until today, of which individual books and book series have been created, namely “The Lost Years” an exploration of young, entwined love, the “Wubao In China (猎艳奇缘)” book series which provides an extensive comparative analysis of the cultural differences between Eastern and Western societies, and the book titled “Foreigner (华人)” an exploration of race relations in Australia.
